Might be asking a daft question or missing something obvious here as I''m a bit of noob at this, I''ve got the code below in a partial and am using it to display and attach skills to degrees which is working fine, I now need to do exactly the same thing for interests and was wondering if there is any way to pass the partial a parameter which I can then some how be used to replace

Small PBX setup
Hi all, I know that this has been passed around before, and I know that it happens about every 3 months or so, but evertime the answers change, so I thought I would pass it around again. A company I work for has 3 incomming lines and 4 phones. They require voicemail and MOH. Their phone systems VM hard drive died today, they were quoted a $2000 to replace it. I started to talk to them about

Rsync'ing lists of files
Hi Everybody, I'm new to this list, but I have been using rsync for quite some time. First, congratulations to the rsync team for a very fine piece of software! I'm wondering whether rsync could help me to perform the following task: I have 5 million files on one side of the ocean, 100000 of which must be copied to the other side. Both numbers grow with time, and occasionally, some

Just got defrauded - how do I block calls which contain a dash (RegEx noob question)
Hi list, I'm using Asterisk2Billing (v2.0.16) and it appears to have an annoying bug. When there are rates for e.g. 44 (UK landline) and 44870 (UK premium) and a fraudster manages to somehow dial 44-870 instead of 44870 the rate for 44 will match, not the one for 44870. So, I would like to block all calls on a dialplan level that contain a dash. -44, 4-4, 44-, 44---, -, ---, just

Clarification of ratings...
I was browsing apps and looking for games that run in Wine as Gold or better. The issue is that I see many apps listed as gold that require recompiling Wine with patches to get them to work. From my understanding, any application that requires code changes should be listed as garbage and tied to a patch/bug to be able to operate. That and any application that ranks higher should run under a

Possible CORS issue
Hi I'm clutching at straws here. I have a user who requires access to a status-json.xsl to publish now playing data for an Alexa skill and this can be accessed via a browser at: - http://example.com:8000/status-json.xsl He says that now his PHP script cannot access the file. I know that Alexa requires *streams* to be served over https but this has previously worked and his skill is

Question about setting field values for a belongs_to model
I have two tables, applicants, and skills where each applicant "has_many" skills, and each skill "belongs_to" an applicant. When I have a reference to an applicant and a (skill) id for one of their skills, I thought to update their skills by using @applicant.skills.find(id_of_skill).description = ''new description'' # even adding

Congratulations on the release of 1.0.0
I see Peter has just announced the release of 1.0.0, on time, even here in Australia, in accordance with a timetable privately announced about 6 months ago. At that time it seemed optimistic to put it mildly. I am not a member of the core team, but as an ordinary user of R with a more privileged inside view than most I'd like to offer my personal congratulations and thanks. This is the

Mailing list <-> forum gateway
Hi all, First off - this is not flame bait or a troll. It's a genuine question. Since the forum gateway was introduced, it is my opinion that this list is getting flooded with newbie questions. Check the "I just installed Ubuntu" thread for a typical example. I wish to silently remove all wine-forum posts and their replies from my inbox. I plan to filter based on From:

Hi Matthias, Thanks a lot for the project. Could you put it in the google doc below? I'd appreciate if you could follow more-or-less the format. Are you going to be the mentor. How to execute priorities following a caller hangup in a successful Dial?
Thanks, Eric. I just tried a hangup handler, but it's showing a similar problem: When the peer hangs-up, the hangup handler is not invoked and the caller channel remains open. same => n(callPeer),Set(GLOBAL(Peer${IndexIntoPeers}CurrentCallsCount)=$[${PeerCurrentCallsCount} + 1]) same => n,Set(CHANNEL(hangup_handler_push)=handleHangupByCallerOrPeer,doesntMatter,1(args)) same =>

Grandstream GXP2160 + SRTP
Hello, I am trying to setup a Grandstream GXP2160 IP-phone with secure calling (SRTP). Secure signaling SSIP for registration is working great ! I follow this guide : https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Secure+Calling+Tutorial But when I try to make a call with SRTP, I get stuck. There is an initial INVITE which is anwered with a 401. There should follow a new INVITE with a nonce,

ThePirateBay.org take advantage of HTML5's <VIDEO>
Word just came in from TorrentFreak that ThePirateBay.org have been working on a streaming video website for countless months that takes advantage of the free media formats OGG, Theora and Vorbis. While filesharing in itself is a controversial subject, this will place HTML5's <VIDEO> and <AUDIO> tag--and more importantly the OGG Theora+Vorbis multimedia format--in the
