mISDN + chan_misdn.so + winbond issue
Hi all,
Does anybody of you have the winbond w6692 working with the
mISDN/chan_misdn.so?
When loading chan_misdn.so from Asterisk, I get a "No lower Id port:1"
error. The /var/log/messages file says: "MISDN free_device: entitylist
not empty"
I'm using Linux 2.6.11.11 + mISDN-CVS-2005-05-01 + Asterisk 1.0.7 + Zaptel 1.0.7
chan_misdn build from chan_misdn-beta-0.0.3-rc6

Duplicated genes
Hi,
May be you can try this:
dat1New<-? dat1[!(duplicated(dat1$gene)|duplicated(dat1$gene,fromLast=TRUE)),]
dat2<-dat1[duplicated(dat1$gene)|duplicated(dat1$gene,fromLast=TRUE),]
?lst1<-split(dat2,dat2$gene)
dat3<-unsplit(lapply(lst1,function(x) {x1<- sum(apply(x[,6:32],2,function(y) y[1]>=y[2]));x2<- sum(apply(x[,6:32],2, function(y) y[1]<=y[2])); if(x1>x2) x[1,] else

asterisk + i4l problems
Hello!
Im pretty new of asterisk world: my goal would be using iaxcomm to call ppl over POTN.
Yesterday i configured asterisk to be able to hear a song (with Playback() command) with
iaxcomm, and it was wonderful.
Now, today i tried to configure asterisk to use my ISDN4Linux supported card (a plain HFC card)
with asterisk.
i configured modem.conf this way, after reading

1.2.4/7 and chan_modem
Hi,
I am currently running several * boxes on 1.0.9 with HFC chipset ISDN
modems using i4l's hisax driver and chan_modem.
Will I be able to use my existing chan_modem setup with 1.2.4 or 1.2.7
or will I need to change it to use bristuff or chan_capi?
I want to do the upgrade with as little changes as possible.
Thank you

help for bootstrap of backward stepwise logistic regression
I would like to perform a bootstrap validation of a backward stepwise
logistic regression analysis, but I am a beginner with R and I am not
sure of how to do it.
Is there anyone that can send me a sample file in tab format (that I
can modify in Excel by pasting my data) and the pertinent R algorithm?
Many thanks
Giuseppe

ISDN - BRI
Subsequent to some previous E-Mails, I've been trying to dig into the ISDN - BRI situation a bit more. I have determined that I have a HFC card with Winbond chip, but I'm not sure what combination of drivers is best or usable.
zaphfc is out because it only supports the cologne chip.
misdn is a possibility. I haven't determined if it supports the card natively, or needs a card

Struggling with ISDN4Linux and Asterisk config
The card is an ASUSCOM ISDNLink PCI (passive) and the circuit is from
Qwest (in the US). I will be using this circuit only for voice (I'm
doing this because of the poor quality of my POTS lines).
I've compiled Hisax (as a module) into my 2.4.25 kernel, and with
'modprobe hisax type=35 protocol=4 id=hisax' I get the following:

hfc-pci/zaphfc: Asterisk hangs with signalling bri_net_ptmp but not with bri_net
Please forgive me, if I misunderstand the problem completely.
Following instructions in several german blogs, I want to configure
Asterisk with a hfc-pci card, an old NTBA and an ISDN phone
as a SIP device.
It seems that I have to set signalling in zapata.conf to bri_net_ptmp.
When I do this, Asterisk will hang if started with -vvvvc, the last
lines of output being:

* as a fax/voice switch
Hi everybody,
is it possible to get asterisk recognising fax calls (NO dedicated msn /
extention) with chan_capi or chan_modem and i4l ? But i only have a
fritz dsl v2.0 (same features as a fritz pci v2.0, I think).
Any hints would be welcome!
Only found info about chan_zap. I also have a hfc-s card with junghann's
bristuff working in NT mode - maybe this can help?
so this is my setup:

chan_capi, chan_misdn and chan_modem
Could someone please comment on the current state of chan_capi,
chan_misdn and chan_modem channel drivers in terms of functionality and
stability. Specifically, which channel driver would be best for a
passive PCI HFC or W6692 ISDN card. The chan_misdn wiki claims that
chan_capi distinguishes between junghanns and non-junghans cards, and
that chan_misdn is better suited for general misdn

zaphfc: empty HDLC frame or bad CRC received
Hi, i've downloaded/compiled/installed the bristuffed asterisk
Asterisk 1.0.7-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC8a
and i'm using it with an hfc card. It runs on a debian 3.1 sarge machine
with kernel 2.6.11. Asterisk works well if i configure the card using
isdn4linux.
I'm having problems dialing out (not tried the input yet).
This is the output from asterisk:

Problems with zaptel and HFC-S PCI card
Hi list,
Now that I've got my Asterisk server to recognize my HFC-PCI card, I've run
into some serious problems. The first thing I noticed was this message
that would show up every five seconds on the CLI:

isdn4linux delay
I have a weird problem and I cannot put my finger on it.
I hope somebody can help me out.
Incoming and outgoing calls via the internet go perfectly well.
Calls that originate from a SIP or AIX client on the local LAN (100 Mbx)
and terminate via a Winbond BRI often (not all of the times, but most of
the times) are having a (about) 5 second delay starting from when I say
something until the
