Junghans Quad-BRI card and asterisk cvs-head
We're using the Quad-BRI card from Junghanns.NET with corresponding
drivers (bristuff 0.0.2).
The driver tries to patch asterisk libpri, which fails for current
version.
Anyone got an idea what'S the latest version of asterisk / libtri usable
with the Quad-BRI Card?
Thanks, Martin

Beronet BN4S0 (quad BRI) card, echo cancel, zaptel timing, bristuff ...
Hi,
I guess I'd need to run Beronet quad and octo bri cards under bristuff to
get zaptel features (echo canceling, timing source).... Am I right or could
I achieve this also with chan_misdn - their native driver ?
Running bristuff on Beronet cards is unsupported. Has anyone succesfully run
Beronet quad BRI cards under bristuff recently ? Do they work ?
Regards,
Rob.

I've got Zaphfc working running Asterisk v. 0.7.2
Then I have tried with Asterisk V. 1.0 and the latest from CVS - with no succes.
Has anybody got zaphfc working with newer version than 0.7.2 ?

Quad BRI with Fedora, anyone?
We have a QuadBRI ISDN card from Digium. We would like to make it work
with Fedora Core 4 (maybe FC3), but haven't succeeded. Compilation of
bristuff from the Digium homepage fails, both the stable version with
asterisk 1.0.9, and the experimental version with asterisk CVS-HEAD.
Has anybody here succeeded to make this work? Or could we even be so
lucky that somebody made RPMs for this?

Re: BRI cards, HFC, and bristuff - a general questionto clear up my understanding.
Does anyone test Asterisk 1.2.X + bristuff-0.3.X and TDM card? We can't
get it to work.

Bristuffed Asterisk: Hangup problems
Hello,
I have a problem with the Bristuffed version of Asterisk. I have tried
Bristuff-0.3.0-pre-1m,n,o,p (Asterisk 1.2.6 to 1.2.7.1) but they all have
the same problem it seems:
The setup:
A machine with a single hfc-s PCI BRI adapter running Gentoo 2.6.15.
Asterisk 1.2.0 (BRIstuffed-0.3.0-PRE-1) installed and working perfectly.
Grandstream gxp-2000 as a SIP phone, and a normal mobile

BRI hardware supported by 1.6 libpri ?
Hi,
Has anyone information about BRI hardware supported by 1.6 libpri ?
In another thread, I was told a basic BRI card with HFC chipset (Bewan Gazel
128) was supported but I would delighted to lear about other harwarde (and
specifically about Digium B410P).

Re: BRI cards, HFC, and bristuff - a generalquestionto clear up my understanding.
Thanks.
I think our problem ca be similar. Have you tried to call from analog phone #1 to another analog phone #2? It works. But when you try
to call vice versa from #2 to #1 it does not work. When you restart asterisk it works again - but only one direction.

Bri solution for Asterisk
I'm using a Cologne chip card in my Asterisk box with zapHFC drivers
(bristuff-0.0.2). The system works well, but this way I'm not able to run
newer version of Asterisk.
Do you think it's better to use i4l support and newer version of Asterisk or
keep the bristuff with older asterisk ??
Have anyone tried chan_mISDN on a 2.6 box ? How does it run ???

Good day all
I downloaded bristuff RFC3 and asterisk,zaptel,libpri versions 1.0.3
This is to install my quad bri card
All installed well
I coped over some old config files. All 4 ports are available,so that
gives 8 open lines for incoming or outgoing, correct me of I'm rond
The problem is,asterisk can only handle 2 calls at a time
if there is 1 incoming(into pstn) and there someone already made

cheap HFC card on Bristuff vs cheap HFC card on i4l vs Fritz ISDN BRI card on CAPI
Hello
I have asterisk running in Red Hat 9 with a cheap HFC card on i4l. I have
choppy sound problems sometimes, and echo problems often. I am using a 2
port Grandstream ATA, Grandstream BT and a Grandstream GPX-2000
I read that changing to BriStuff will fix the echo problems, but have also
read other users say that the only way they solved the echo/choppy sound
problems was using a Fritz ISDN

Bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1q and & florz patch compile trouble
Again trouble compiling bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1q with the florz patch on a
x86_64 box (I guess nobody is using x86_64 platform or is able to fix this
themselves?)
First of all when bristuff is downloaded and compile is started it appears
that the bristuff Makefiles are badly broken.
The asterisk Makefiles all do see to find the kernel sources on a RHEL4
box in the proper directory, the pure

Xorcom Bri 4 Port USB
Hi,
I'm having some trouble setting up a Xorcom Bri 4 port. I have compiled asterisk and zaptel using the Bristuff bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1y-g patches.
So I'm running zaptel-1.2.17.1 and asterisk-1.2.18.
The problem I'm having is that for one I get no LEDs showing if the unit is in TE and NT mode (not a issue for me but may have some impact on things) I have no errors in any logs I

florz patch for bristuff breaks compile on x86_64?
After upgrading a CentOS 3.x box to CentOS 4.1 (both x86_64 with an
Athlon64) I also wanted to get the latest bristuff. Unfortunately
bristuff without florz causes the box to kernel panic within hours
(console will complain about bad frame received something).
It seems however that the florz patch will not work for x86_64 arch.
Bristuff -0.2.0-RC8j compiles fine without the florz patch, but

Multiple ISDN BRI Units with Asterisk using Bristuff zaphfc in NT mode?
Maybe this is rather a hardware question, but I am posting it on this
list because the probability of someone else of you having tried this is
greater here than other places I can think of.
I have an ISDN card that is setup in NT mode using the zaphfc driver in
bristuff, and I got it working perfectly with one ISDN phone using a
crossover cable and 100 ohm termination at the end of the cable.

hello:
thanks for Tzafrir Cohen for dahdi testing.
I installed dahdi-2.1-r3c svn code and asterisk1-6
for testing OpenVox B400P and junghans card. i fund that there is bug (i think) to dectect NT or TE mode. actually on the board,
i set it as TE mode, but after start wcb4xxp, but
it show the port is NT mode. to detect the TE mode, I modefy the code in base.c

bristuff hangup issue
hi,
Just wanted to inform everyone, if you're using the latest bristuff's
you might (depends on the country!) have hangup issues.
The issue appears every time you dial an external number, and hangup
after letting it ring for a few times. Then the remote party keeps
ringing.
In some situations (we only encountered this while dialing to other *
servers) it keeps the line open on the

Asterisk 1.0.9 on SuSE 9.2 with ISDN BRI & zaphfc?
I would like to know how to install asterisk 1.0.9 with zaphfc working
on a SuSE 9.2. I tried this:
- The rpms with SuSE 9.2 are asterisk 1.0.6
- bristuff works, except for zaphfc, which doesn't compile.
- The official asterisk download file doesn't contain isdn bri support
Any ideas?
Lars Dybdahl.
