[LLVMdev] SCEV and induction variable identification
Hi Fellows, The goal is to find the induction variable for a loop, where the induction variable increments with the multiplication, division or shift operations, like this one: sz = 8; do { ... ... sz = sz / 2; } while (sz) Is SCEV capable of detecting the induction variable 'sz' in this case? The code snippet I am using to solve the problem is for each basic-block in a

Non-kbuild klibc obsoleted
I have now officially obsoleted the non-kbuild version of klibc (yes, it's way overdue... my work-for-pay hasn't been too kind to me with time, I'm afraid.) As a result, I've renamed the klibc-kbuild.git repository klibc.git; the old one is now klibc-old.git, but I'm not promising that it will be continued to be maintained going forward. -hpa

Down-grading to an "obsoleted" package
Hi, Does anyone know if there is a clean way to "downgrade" to the old rpm package when it was previously replaced by another that obsolete it? I mean, say that I have installed some rpm "A-1.0-1.x86_64.rpm", and along comes "B-1.0-1.x86_64.rpm", whose spec has Obsoletes: A Now, if I do "rpm -U B-1.0-1.x86_64.rpm" or "yum install

Lightweight build of smbclient only
I'm interested in using smbclient in an embedded Linux system, to copy files to a Windows file share. I don't need the entire samba suite. I'd like to get a smbclient compile that is reasonably small (less than 3 MB ideally). I'm building the embedded Linux system cross-compiled for an ARM based platform using Yocto. Yocto has support for building samba. But it is aimed at the

Strange problem, please help
Hi all, First of all I repost this email in shorewall list as there are a lot of firewall experts here that might know what the hell i going on. We have also posted this on the linux bridge list (we needed acceptance first) and leaf list. Very thankful for your understanding. We are experiencing a very strange problem and would need some help. We have a Leaf / Shorewall based box (actually
