Hi all, I am interested in interfacing a GSM modem to *. I've seen a few comments about doing this, but I'm not clear whether people have actually made it work. I've used GSM modems for various data jobs, mostly high volume SMS (no, not nasty marketing stuff - high volume solicited SMS :-) ) . These only have analogue ports for voice. Hi all, I came across a new(to me that is) issue. I want to know from others what they have done to resolve this. I have a 4 port digium card with FXO's, and connected to each FXO is a premicell. When I dial the premicell, after about two seconds is says 'ZAP/1 answered', then it takes a few more seconds for the call to hit the cellular network, before the cellphone starts to ring.

Among them is Omniis TAPI driver for Asterisk. B. I can properly configure this driver (line, context, ...). C. When I open Outlook 2002 Contacts panel, I can select "Call this contact"

I set up a monitoring system that calls my techs when a problem occurs on one of our networks, everything works fine unless asterisk calls a cell phone in which case the tech can not respond using dtmf.
