Linux Arch: kernel BUG at fs/btrfs/inode.c:873!
Hi, I have a home server on Linux Arch (kernel 3.11.2) that uses multi-device btrfs on root filesystem. Until recently it worked completely fine. And yesterday I rebooted it and the machine did not wake up. I booted from a USB (kernel 3.10) and tried to mount the filesystem. Here is OOPs I see [ 41.676217] device fsid 25e6a6fa-fe1f-4be5-a638-eeac948f8c21 devid 8 transid 164237 /dev/sda [

No RED/GREEN alerts on TDM400P?
I replaced my X100P cards with two TDM04B fully populated (8 FXO modules). They are working fine, I can make and receive calls, but I noticed all modules are always in GREEN state, even if I disconnect the line. Both zttools and a cat /proc/zaptel/<device> shows no RED alarm. Is there a workaround for this? Gelson

NetworkWorld article on Open Source Telephony
An interesting article for those needing ammunition to sell Asterisk within their organisation or to others: "Is open source IP telephony ready for prime time? Yes" by Zenas Hutcheson, St. Paul Venture Capital Network World, 06/07/04 http://www.nwfusion.com/columnists/2004/0607faceoffyes.html On a related note, they also have an article arguing the contrary position (see link within

Areski CDR graph incorrect
Is anyboby using the areski CDR reporting tool? I have installed asterisk-stats v1.2 three days ago, but I found a possible bug in it. My calls compare graphic shows most of the on the calls at first hours past midnight, and it never logs anything after lunch time. This is wrong, my calls are made on business hours. The call log lists those calls at the right time. Is there

Error in zapata/zaptel configuration
Hi I have reason to believe that I have errors in my configuration because when I make a call I can see the H323 call executed ok but not being processed by Zap. I am using R2 signaling ( which I know is incomplete but should I not see it when I debug Zap channel?). I think there is a problem with my Zapata and zaptel configs . I understand that R2 can work with R2 China and R2 Argentina.

Outgoing FXO calls have no audio with callprogress=no
My outgoing FXO calls are answered but have no audio in either direction if I have callprogress=no in chan_dahdi.conf. If I change to callprogress=yes then the audio returns. My chan_dahdi.conf file is listed below. Can anyone point-out why callprogress=no isn't working? #cat /tmp/a [trunkgroups] [channels] language=en context=incoming toneduration=40 ;usedistinctiveringdetection=yes

FXO without answer supervision
Simple question that google hasn't helped much with (likely poor search terms) I just installed a Sangoma A200 with overall good results. Initial tests with both incoming and outgoing calls were very positive. Until I made a normal call that lasted more than 30 seconds. I setup the FXO with kewlstart signalling, and the outgoing call is never registered as 'Answered' and the dial

Timing
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, As I understand it, Asterisk currently uses the timestamps in incoming RTP packets to build outgoing voice frames. Is this true? Would it be possible for me to use i.e. zaprtc as a timing source for the outgoing stream? I.e. in a setup like below I'd like to use zaprtc timing on Ast1 because I don't trust the timestamps coming from

TDM400P FXO click sounds
Hello, I have a TDM400P with 4 FXO ports, currently using three. When sending or receiving calls on this card, there is a nearly constant popping/clicking sound, it is related to the echo cancellation?. I adjusted my gains properly, but to no avail. I even found that setting echotraining=no in zapata.conf didn't change the scenario at all. I've plugged analog handsets into the

Outgoing call answer confirmation
Using Digium's "Asterisk Developer's Kit (TDM)", I've been trying to make an outside call by copying sample.call to /var/spool/asterisk/outgoing. I want the VoiceMailMain to run when the call is answered. The call is made correctly but, as you probably know, the application starts as soon as the call is made. I see there are two solutions: Using callprogress=yes in

New TDM04B 4-port FXO card problems
Just installed the new 4-port FXO card and moved two pstn lines from existing x100p cards to ports on the FXO card. All zapata.conf entries that were functional on the x100p's were copied to the new FXO channels (including callprogress=no). Observations thus far: 1. asterisk will spontanously decide a pstn call has arrived, and ring the sip phone designated in the dailplan. Verified

Hangup Issues on TDM40B FXO Australia
Afternoon all, After doing some test on my asterisk box I can successfully receive calls to my Asterisk PBX to a SIP phone from The Telstra PSTN network Dial out from a sip phone is also not an issue, all calls connect and terminate normally. If I call the Asterisk PBX say from PSTN in Zap1-1 and out through ZAP2-2 back to the PSTN (after entering the correct pin off course) the card does not

Asterisk answers with high pitch sound
Hi, I've googled it and look in voip-info.org <http://voip-info.org> without any success. Hope someone can point me to the right direction. I saw a couple similar questions, but don't see any answers. Fedora Core 2 2 X100P(clone) PSTN Asterisk 1.07 Everything seems to be running fine, but on occasion, Asterisk answers the call with high pitch screech sound (like fax or modem

TDM400P with FXO/FXS hangup problem
Hello, I've got an Asterisk server with a TDM400P with 2 FXO modules and 2 FXS modules. This server is connected to 2 PSTN lines and 2 analog phones. In my Zaptel configuration, I've defined 2 groups : one for the 2 FXO's and one for the 2 FXS. The asterisk server is just used to add a little IVR and Voicemail service. Eveything works fine, but sometimes the conversation is

FXO Problems
I have 2 Digium 4 port FXO cards in my system. The system is a P4 2.4Ghz, 512MB RAM, Promise FastTrax 100 TX2 Pro Raid, 80GB RAID1 for storage - whitebox - running RedHat 9. With pretty much any CVS HEAD version we are getting, what I will call, "phantom" calls on some lines. What I mean by a phantom call is that the line will ring, Asterisk will log that the Zap channel has been

TDM400P FXO callprogress doesn't detect remote answer
Location = US asterisk/zaptel from CVS. Updated last week some time. Currently rebuilding with todays checkout. I have 2 fxo channels hooked up to outside standard Bell South phone lines. If I configure as so [channels] context=pstn group = 1 signalling = fxs_ks callprogress = yes channel => 4,3 Then any call routed from asterisk to the outside line will ring, and can be picked up, but *
