similar to: Delay when routing PSTN -> IAXy dect phone

I've got the following setup: IAXy -> Dect Base Station. When you dial from a SIP phone (cisco 7960), the rings with very little delay. However, if you hangup it takes 3-4 rings after hanging up before the dect base station phone stops ringing. The same applies when an incoming call is directed from PSTN FXO -> Dect Base. Is there a fix to this I've looked about on voip-info but

Hi All, I have just installed Asterisk and am trying to connect it to a SIP account that I currently have with www.voiptalk.org but without any success. Although I know that voiptalk do provide asterisk accounts I don't want to convert the SIP account until am happy that it's gonna work for me. I place a call from an IAXY to an IAXY device. INitially the calls show in the output of "show channels". Then after a few seconds the "show channels" command shows 0 active channels even though I am still talking on the channels. Any ideas on this? THanks, Jerry

Hi I have a problem with a new DECT phone I have bought The key pad works like a Mobile phone where you dial first then pick up the line, but it seems to dail too fast or spuriously, ie 012826736464 show on thew Asterisk console as 0012282677, could any one offer advice how to fix? Hello, I have been experiencing audio problems when accessing the Voicemail application using DECT phones and the g729 codec. The issue is that whereas the vm-password is always played correctly by the DECT phone, the rest of audio files, randomly, are played or not by the DECT phone.
