iconnect register problem
I am trying to get my connection to IConnecthere.com
working. I didn't have a register command in sip.conf
at first, so I believe that is why it was not working.
However, I can't seem to get the register command
correct, it just keeps timing out. Below is what I
have:

I know that there is supposed to be

iconnecthere behind NAT, strange deal
I've been to the WIKI and I've searched the archives.
Is anyone on the list successfully using iconnecthere behind NAT?
I was, for over a year, and then I changed my "plan" with them. Now all
my calls get intercepted immediately, "We're sorry, but your account is
temporarily unavailable."
Incoming calls work just fine.

Multi-channel support
Hi All,
Are multi-channel (more than 2) formats fully supported in the OggVorbis specification ? I couldn't
find any information about multi-channel support on xiph.org. I've used 'oggdropXPd' to encode a
5.1 wavefile and the Xiph OggVorbis libraries (vorbisfile.dll) to decode the file successfully,
however the order of the channel interleaving is different to the original wave

Multiple simultaneous calls
Hi Guys,
I am a novice of Asterisk and I need some experts help to understand what I
can get out of it.
I need to make multiple calls (let say 50) at once to autoanswering
softphones on a LAN and send all of them the same message that they will
repeat with loudspeakers in the same environment.
I am a little concerned about synchronization of the phones and moreover it
is not much clear to me if I

offices on each end of the building and a fiber line between them. I
currently have an asterisk 1.2 system in place and about 30 phones. My
problem is they want a few fax machines out in the warehouse area where

Echo cancellation
Hi Everybody,
Got a weird problem here I think. Got a setup with an asterisk (current
from cvs as of a few hours ago) in a box with an el-cheapo ISDN BRI card
connected to the PSTN network and two Snom phones internally (one Snom-100
and one Snom-200). Dialing between the snom phones or dialing out to PSTN
from any of the snom phones works perfectly.
But when I receive a call FROM the PSTN

AGI Pascal
Hi,
Has anyone done any AGI scripting in pascal. I would appreciate help anyone
can offer. My understandin on AGI scripting is very flaky, I am assuming
whatever language is used the application needs to be compile and made
executable. So if I write a script in pascal, I would compile it with
something like freepascal and make it executable.
Thanks

How much Ruby?
I bought the pickaxe about 1 1/2 months ago, and I have been reading through
it and learning Ruby in my spare time. I''m about 200 pages into it, and I''m
starting to think I don''t need to know all of the in''s and out''s of Ruby to
get a good hang on Rails.
How much Ruby do I really need to be proficient in Rails? Ruby is a great
language, I love it, but

Accessing Facter in other languages than Ruby?
Hi all,
We''re writing a few scripts at the moment that could really make use of
Facter, however the vast majority of them team (including my self!) are not
proficient in Ruby, however they are highly proficient in other languages such
as (dare I say it!) Python.
Is there (or are there any plans to!) release bindings for other languages to
enable facts to be used in scripts other
