[LLVMdev] problems running JIT code on Mac 32-bit
Hello, I am trying to run this test program via JIT on my Mac (10.7.1) where I have compiled the latest LLVM code for 32-bit and it is not working properly. Running the same code against LLVM 2.9 works fine. I also tried recompiling my same checkout of LLVM as 64-bit and re-compiled my test program and that works fine, for some reason the 32-bit version is yielding unexpected behavior. I believe

some ports not stealthed?
I''ve installed this fine software on my home network and am very pleased with the ease of installation and especially the documentation. My firewall box masq''s a private net via dialup modem. Configuration is almost exactly as described in the two-interface example. My question regards the result of a "internet test scan" that I found via google search...when I run

ShieldsUp scan
Hi, I''m a home user who doesn''t understand the workings of the Shorewall firewall (or the linux OS on which I''ve just installed it) very well. Having just installed Shorewall 1.4.6c with a default "home user" configuration I gave it a run against the online ShieldsUp scan. Main surprise was that the ICMP echo was enabled. I''ve since gone into

Start recording during call by pressingbutton sequence
Zac, Thanks for the input. This would cover it, however it is not stealth. In some cases, you may want it to be stealth. Again, my state allows me to do this, but some states do not. I've done a little searching and could not find an answer. Basically, to simplify the question: When is it legal to record interstate calls without giving notice, when the recording party is in a one-party

[LLVMdev] ABI: how to let the backend know that an aggregate should be allocated on stack
Hi All, I am trying to handle the Homogeneous Aggregate for ARM-VFP according to the spec: C.1.vfp If the argument is a VFP CPRC and there are sufficient consecutive VFP registers of the appropriate type unallocated then the argument is allocated to the lowest-numbered sequence of such registers. C.2.vfp If the argument is a VFP CPRC then any VFP registers that are unallocated are marked as

R developer opportunity in a computational marketing startup
Dear R users/developers, I am posting on behalf of a friend who is looking for R developers. The requirements are : - Available to work/re-locate to Bangalore, India - Over 5 - 6 years of solid R experience is essential - The ideal candidate should have worked on regression modeling and predictive models - Experience using Big Data technologies (like Hadoop)

Stealth Router
Hi, in FreeBSD kernel is options that make router stealth, packet passed throw router have no change in TTL value. Is a posibility to make similar thing in Linux, I think that in traceroute isn''t this hop, no asteris, no router, no change in TTL, nothing ...? PSIkappa psi@atlantis.sk

[LLVMdev] [llvm-commits] ABI: how to let the backend know that an aggregate should be allocated on stack
In llvm-gcc, this decision was handled near llvm-arm.cpp:2737 in llvm_arm_aggregate_partially_passed_in_regs(). Basically, available registers would be counted up and if the HA didn't fit, it went byval instead. I agree that we should unify this sort of logic in one place. I'm not sure that onstack is the best interim step toward that. Does byval work here? Alex On Oct 23, 2012, at

LLVM building problem
Dear all, I'm using a Virtual Machine with Ubuntu 18.04 at VIrtualBox and I'm trying to build the LLVM project from https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project.git. This VM has 6 cores (from an intel core i-7 8th gen), 11GB of RAM and 300GB of storage (from a 1TB HDD) at a laptop, this is the model: MSI GS63 Stealth 8RE. Then, I'm doing exactly that this tutorial says to build LLVM:

[LLVMdev] [llvm-commits] ABI: how to let the backend know that an aggregate should be allocated on stack
Byval does not work for me, it will try to split the struct to fit into available core registers and the rest on stack. [LLVMdev] [llvm-commits] ABI: how to let the backend know that an aggregate should be allocated on stack
At the time, the ARM target didn't actually handle byval. Now it does. You should be able to get the old struct passing capability if you don't apply an attribute at all. Port 631 closed, not hidden
I have the firewall turned on my CentOS 5 box, but GRC is reporting that 631 is closed instead of stealthed. If the firewall isn't configured to allow that, then why might that be happening? Miark

stealt match grsecurity
hi, can i use shorewall with configured stealth match. it described as followed: Enabling this option will drop all syn packets coming to unserved tcp ports as well as all packets coming to unserved udp ports. If you are using your system to route any type of packets (ie. via NAT) you should put this module at the end of your ruleset, since it will drop packets that aren''t going to

I think I figured out how to get wine to run the .net framework very well
I have recently heard about the silverlight project. The silverlight project is a plugin released by Microsoft for Linux that allows the use of .Net based apps on Linux. My only disagreement with using this plugin is the fact that Microsoft has been accessing XP and Vista systems without permission and changing software as stated by ZDnet. They call it Stealth Updating. Anyway that does not mean
