similar to: Cisco 7960 using Skinny protocol

Is there a place where I can find documentation on the Skinny protocol in Asterisk? I did a search, but I cannot seem to find much... I'm looking for information on how to get a Cisco 7960 with the CM image on it to work with asterisk.. Is it support for Skinny in asterisk even mature enough to be able to do this? Thanks, - Andre

Dear all. I have about 30 Cisco 7910 handsets, and my basic research has told me that they are not SIP based handsets. Not to worry for now, I just need them to connect to my asterisk server. I could use some skinny/Cisco help here. Was finally able to get the phone registered to * but whenever someone tries to call that phone it freezes and reboots itself. Same thing happens when you pick the handset up off the 7960G; it locks and reboots about 5 sec later. Hey, Does anyone know how to use the cisco router with an fxo wic with Asterisk? I don't have enough space on this device to support an IOS that supports sip or h323.
