RE: Asterisk-Users digest, Vol 1 #3408 - 12 msgs
I am looking to install a web interface for Asterisk to transfer calls and look who's on the phone. If anybody has a working web interface please let me know. I installed the www.asternic.com (operator)
But when I bring up my web browser it says transferring data and does not bring a browser.

Why are you guys promoting a Rippoff
On your web you have a link
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+settings+Diamondcard
To Setup Calling with Diamondcard.us and I signed up and paid the money
according to Stephen Karrington it was all automated... And it was automated
to take money but when you look for service hookups or information you don't
get it.
I have tried now for last little while to contact them for support

VON show report - Wi Fi Phones
Is that wifi phone available? If yes how much and when? I am looking to
purchase a large quantity of wifi phones. I have a few questions on
making calls with these phones and how the accounting of the calls would
go. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Stephen Karrington

Local Calling Area database?
Is there an easy way to get information about local calling areas out
of telcos? I'm trying to get a list of area codes and prefixes in my
local calling area out of Verizon, and it looks like they've stopped
providing the information online. Is there an easy source that I'm
missing, or do I need to call them and have them mail me a copy every
few months?

Java?
We needed the client browser to be open all the time for dynamic data to
load without the page refreshing. After looking at all of our options we
decided on programming it ourselves using flash rather than java.
We have a flash frontend thats tied to our backend mysql DB. We use it
for loading web site traffic data, email opens, click-throughs,
bouncebacks, stats, etc. It could also be used with

Does anyone have any brief recommendations? Ease of use and support are
the key criteria.

quadBRI and UK ISDN2e
Morning Asterikians,
I've just got my nice shiny quadBRI card, and it seems to be working
very well - except for one little issue - CallerID.
The card is currently connected to an ISDN2e line in P2P mode, and an S0
adapter on our existing alcatel PBX. The S0 connection recieves callerID
and displays it correctly - the 2e line doesn't, and BT have said that
CLID was enabled on the

bonding & vlan - kernel 2.4.18 (RHL7.3)
Hi,
Hopefully this won''t be too off-topic (I''ve seen both bonding & vlan
mentioned on the list, but not really together).
I''ve tried to get bonding (2 x 100Mb EEPro, but will want to try on
1000BaseT) and vlans to work together, but without luck. I can get them
working fine (seemingly at least - I didn''t tried bursting on the
bonded port) individually.

RFD: With echo and other distortion, can ulaw/alaw line quality ever be good enough for faxing?
Folks,
I've been following recent discussions regarding echo and echo training with
much interest, since it's a problem we've never been able to eliminate here.
We're facing two challenges presently, and they may be related (or not):
a) Cisco 7960s in the office here echo back to our staff, but the customer
hears decent sound.
b) We've yet to be able to pass faxes through

i have been playing around trying to get ice2 to work now for quite some
time and frankly i am a bit frustrated by now... the anoying thing is how

echo cancelation
HI all,
Having a mental block today - can someone confirm which direction the echo
cancelation applies to for the Zap PRI channels?
ie. is it removing traces of the transmitted data to the PSTN from the
received data,
*or* is it removing traces of the data transmitted to Asterisk from the data
received back from Asterisk?
Got a configuration that is based on a call made from the PSTN to a SIP

Domain DFS on samba 4
Hello,
Our company currently stores its data on centralized samba servers which
causes performance problems for remote office employees. We are thinking
of decentralizing the data with NAS in each office and synchronizing all
the NAS on our central domain controller with MSDFS. I have heard this
can be done in real time with Windows and Active Directory.

SPA-2002 call HANGUP. May be a SIP bug.
Hello,
We have problems with Asterisk and Sipura SPA-2002.
SPA is behind the NAT. Asterisk has nat=yes.
Sometimes call doesn't hangup when user finish the call and hangup the
headset.
In this case during all conversation SIP packets contains
Call-ID: bee522ee-8efa7d25@123.123.123.123
but the final BYE packet from adapter contains
Call-ID: bee522ee-8efa7d25@10.0.0.2

Info on UK ISDN30e?
Hi :)
My employer is looking to move a call centre to a new office, and has
been increasingly frustrated with their legacy PBX (call-logging
licensing and hardware upgrade costs). So I've stepped forth as the
Open Source Pedant and suggested Asterisk so we can do all our own
CallerID / call logging / analyses, and make use of IP Phones /
teleworking, etc.
The problem begins in that I only

Opening files from R terminal - appologies
Dear all,
I appologise for cluttering up the list with such a basic question,
however I have been unable to find the answer I want (possibly through
my poor usage of the R help system).
As I am visually impaired and using assistive technology, I think I
would prefer to use R from the terminal mode, i.e. by running rterm.exe
found in the bin directory.
I have managed to set my working
