Réf. : Re: Fritz ISDN PCI v2 and CAPI
I tried that but it still doesn't work... I think I don't have the correct approach. Have I to install any ISDN drivers (=modules ?) BEFORE dealing with CAPI ? If yes, why shouldn't I use the hisax drivers (which are kernel ones) instead of fcpci drivers (which doesn't seems to work, by the way...) And finally, how is it possible to link the two modules together? As you can see,

Réf. : Re: Fritz ISDN PCI v2 and CAPI
If I do that, the modprobe doesn't find any module called fcpci and is looking for any module called hisax_fcpcipnp as it's the one install for the isdn fritz card. # capiinit modprobe: Can't locate module fcpci ERROR: failed to load driver fcpci Maybe, I should reinstall the fritz card drivers itselves? (however, I don't think so...)

Fritz ISDN PCI v2 and CAPI
Hi, First, here is my config: Kernel version 2.4.25 on a Fedora distro, Asterisk and a Fritz! Isdn PCI Card (v2). I try to make the CAPI drivers deal with Asterisk but I can't try to figure out to get of this issue. As I see, Fritz modules are integrated with the kernel, so I directly loaded the 'hisax_fcpcipnp' module from it. I install also Capi modules by downloading archives of the

Réf.: Re: Asterisk with UUI support ?
Can you put this patch on line? (I don't think it's too big...) In my mind, the main objective is to create a special field and force its value in chan_capi.c and check wether it goes through asterisk or not... What do you think of that? Asterisk & Fritz & Capi & isdn PBX integration : Can I dial out on any MSN I declare ?
Hi, I'm integrating Asterisk to legacy PBX via ISDN router. If I want to call legacy PBX internal extension I need to specify MSN as caller id and local number to call. I wonder if I can cal out via Fritz & CAPI on any msn I want, or are there any limitations - I've read something about 5 MSNs limitation and wonder if it still holds ? Thanks in advance, regards, Rob.

cheap HFC card on Bristuff vs cheap HFC card oni4l vs Fritz ISDN BRI card on CAPI
Hi, Bristuff works great with HFC card... your compilation problem may come from your kernel configuration... You should check this doc, at least, for the redhat config : http://www.automated.it/guidetoasterisk.htm Then, installation of Bristuff works like as charm ! cheap HFC card on Bristuff vs cheap HFC card on i4l vs Fritz ISDN BRI card on CAPI
Hello I have asterisk running in Red Hat 9 with a cheap HFC card on i4l. I have choppy sound problems sometimes, and echo problems often. I am using a 2 port Grandstream ATA, Grandstream BT and a Grandstream GPX-2000 I read that changing to BriStuff will fix the echo problems, but have also read other users say that the only way they solved the echo/choppy sound problems was using a Fritz ISDN

Réf.: Re: Asterisk with UUI support ?
right, so far, here is what I've done: I succeed in take in a new variable the UUS1 field sent with the connection request for incoming calls. It was quite simple afterall... (I just had to find where the data CMSG->Useruserdata is coming in chan_capi.c) Now I would like to know where this field is instanciated for outgoing calls in order to control this step? I am looking for that but I

AVM Fritz/Capi without suse ?
Hi All, Has anyone had success with using the AVM Fritz PCI ISDN Card (v2) CAPI drivers with a distro other than suse? The AVM driver is geared towards suse, and after trying them with RedHat 9 I've not got very far. The module compiles but dies when I attempt to modprobe it. I've googled until I almost lost the will to live! What little information I can find seems to refer back to

HELP on AVM Fritz with CAPI drivers for SMP RH 9
Hello, I have been wrestling with installing the CAPI drivers for AVM Fritz in order to use chan_capi with Asterisk. I use an SMP machine, RH 9. I have found rpm's for CAPI and AVM drivers (namely: capi4k-utils-2003.06.16-08.mungo.RH9.i686.rpm and kernel-2.4.20-8- avmfcpci-03.11.02-08.mungo.RH9.i686.rpm), but I believe that they support only single processor machines. I've already

echo capi AVM fritz card
Hi All, I'm running asterisk 1.0.7 on debian sarge, and hardware-wise an AVM Fritz!PCI Card, together with chan_capi 0.3.5. The problem is that any inbound/outbound calls on analogue line result in echo on MY end (the asterisk end). I've played with the echo settings in capi.conf (mainly turning on echocancel and echosquelch, also tried playing with rxgain/txgain) to no avail. The only

Fedora Core 2 (kernel 2.6.5), CAPI and Fritz PCI
I have an Asterisk box running happily under Fedora Core 2 with a X100P and a TDM400P, and now I'd like to integrate it to my ISDN2e connection using either an AVM Fritz PCI card or an Eicon DIVA passive card, both of which I have sculling around. I've successfully used the AVM card under RedHat 8.0, but I'm having difficulty finding information on running it under the Fedora 2.6
