XCP GUI management
Xen List
After planning for a year to move my Xen 3.4 classrooms to XCP I''m now
making an effort. With the old system I wrote many lines of bash scripts
around the xm command to group and manage my VMs. I used sudo to grant
privileges for each student to start, stop, console into, reboot, and wipe
their VMs without any interaction from me. Now with XCP I had the hope of
moving to the

Pull call out of queue
Trying to figure out the best way to pull an active call out of a queue by unique id and put it on hold. I don't want to put it on hold on the agent's phone but I want it to be pulled away from the agent's phone and into Asterisk limbo somewhere.
Shortly after I want to pull the same call out of limbo and redirect it back to either the same agent or another.
I was thinking about call

[LLVMdev] I would like to banish libc++'s <dynarray> implementation into "experimental"
<dynarray> was added to the C++14 standard, libc++ implemented it, and then it was removed.
Now (from the standard’s point of view), it is in limbo.
I would like to move it into std/experimental; to make it clear that it’s not a part of the standard.
Any objections?
Anyone using it?

Asterisk + GnuGK :::: Unreachable Destination.
Hello again.
I'm stll struggling trying to terminate calls from SIP through Asterisk
and throught my H323 gateways...
Basically the call is accepted by GnuGK but then dropped with
*reason = unreachableDestination <<null>>*
I did a *debug trc 10* on GnuGK and looked at the sessions... one from
X-Lite through Asterisk... and one from OpenPhone... The one from
OpenPhone works

Cheap PoE switches/injectors?
I'm trying to spec out hardware for a new office, and I'd like to
include power over Ethernet as an option. I've seen a handful of PoE
injectors around $1000 for 24 ports and a couple switches up around
$2500 for 24 ports. Are there any cheaper options, short of buying a
boatload of 1-port injectors off of ebay? I don't really need more
then 24 ports of PoE out of 48 total

Problem with CentOS 5.1/xen/RTL8110
Hello:
I'm having issues with my CentOS 5.1/Xen installation. If I run the
xen-bridge, I seem to get flaky ethernet. By flaky I mean everything seems
fine from the host machine, but if I attempt to contact the host machine from
another remote machine (eg. my laptop which is on the same subnet as the xen
machine, separated by 10 ft of cable and a router) I either get extremely

Deferred success for specs?
I''ve started using specs as a to-do list. I write explicitly
violated specs so I know what to come back to. But a lot of the
time, that means if I start to work on another piece of functionality
covered by the same spec, it''s hard to tell what I''m working on now
from the explicit failues.
I run all my specs through TextMate to use the HTML output, so I go

Buildbot Noise
One strategy I use for our flaky bots is to have them email me only. If the failure is real, then I forward the email to who ever I find on the blame list. For a flaky build, this is least you can do. For our flaky builds I know how and why they are flaky, some person that gets email does not. This is also a great motivator to help me know what is wrong, and how to fix it. By default, all new

Yes. This is the real noise, one that we cannot accept.

Asterisk, festival, dropped calls
Hi
I have been playing around with asterisk for a few days now. I have asterisk
running with a single x100p card and a couple of x-lite "extensions". Here's
where I am at:
I can make calls between the extensions. Voice mail seems to work OK. I can
use the x100p card to dial out to the PSTN over the analogue interface and
receive calls fine. I have my FWD account hooked up as well

I am trying to finish building a system and I kind of need to pick
working NIC and onboard SATA chipsets (video is not a big deal - I can
get a silent PCIe card for that, I already know one which works great)
I need 8 onboard SATA. I would prefer Intel CPU. At least one gigabit
port. That''s about it.

Documenting the NUT driver-qualification process
I think the time for me to get involved in NUT documentation has come
again.
Late last week I had to buy a UPS under time pressure. The Eaton unit
that thus project gifted me with in 2006(?) died during a severe
thunderstorm watch, so it was off to MicroCenter to get a replacement
pronto.
I wound up buying an APC BN700MC. It was what they had in the
performance range I needed. The removable

Local Calling Area database?
Is there an easy way to get information about local calling areas out
of telcos? I'm trying to get a list of area codes and prefixes in my
local calling area out of Verizon, and it looks like they've stopped
providing the information online. Is there an easy source that I'm
missing, or do I need to call them and have them mail me a copy every
few months?
