Hello All, Quick question here on equipment selection. Is there any benefit to using a bunch of Adtran 850's with RCUs over 850s with BCU L1 to interface with the T400P. I'm looking at building a PBX with 7 channel banks. 6 x 24-port FXS and 1 x 24-port FXO. Would the RCU give me any advantage/functionality over the BCUL1? Thanks, Scott

Hello. I have been going thru the wiki and asterisk related sites and have not been able to find any documentation about how to configure an Adtran TA750 channel bank. The remote disconnect supervision doesn't seem to be working, when the remote caller hangs up asterisk takes up to 30-45 seconds to hangup the call. Can somebody help? Thank's

Hello All, I'm having a weird problem when connecting up to a TA 750 from adtran. The problem I'm seeing is that the third wire on my 66 block is behaving as the tip (or ring) for every extension. Is this indicative of a bad BCU? The only extension that works properly is extension Zap 2. Every other extension is crossed with Zap 2. Very weird. Anyone see this before? Did I get a

I just had the same exact problem this morning. The only thing I've done in the last couple of days is update update zaptel. I rolled back my zaptel to 2/11/04 from 3/8/04. Hello, I have just received Adtran TSU 600 with 24 FXS ports. I have installed sucessfuly T100P card. Adtran is connected to t100p with crossover T1 cable. On T100P card I have a green light and on Adtran I do not get any errors or alarms. But I do not get dialtone on FXS ports. Adtran is configured: For Network Timing, fxs ports ore fxs_ls on Adtran. I am sending a call down a E&M wink trunk to a adtran tsu600 channelbank. The extension is setup like so... exten=>799179,1,Dial(zap/g2,20,D(9179)) exten=>799179,2,Hangup() It should Dial the Adtran and send some DTMF signals to a telephone on an fxs module in the Adtran. Asterisk is seeing the call answered when the T-1 is picked up by the Adtran not when the ringing phone is answered.
