Hi All, I have been busy with this problem for a while now, but I can't find any solution. First I thought this was a problem with the phones, but all my phones have this problem. (2 SNOM 200, 2 GS 102, 2 Cisco 7960). I tried all firmware versions I could find for the phones. First, my situation: - No NAT, No Firewall, same subnet - Codec configuration: In general: disallow=all

I have 2 Snom 200 and would like to get them to work properly with Asterisk. With the Firmware 2.02t I am able to use the phone. But only one line configured. With there newer firmware 2.03o it will not allow me to make calls. But I can get calls on the unit. Again the 2nd line is not able to be registered. Is this an issue with Asterisk or Snom? The TDM410P doesn't support 'hvac', only the obsolete TDM400P supports that option was for the old phones that have a neon light (or equivalent LED+ZENER ciruit). I am trying to get an understanding of how line appearances work like on the cisco 7960 phones. Is there a wiki somewhere about how this works? Also, the 7960 phones let you register more than one ext. Why would you want more than one or is this connected to line appearances? Is there a way to have phones use more than one codec, say use g.711 to talk with * and g.729 to talk with another

Has anyone figured out how to mimick a traditional bridged-appearance? My guys like the ability to put a call on hold on line "3" and it's the same call on line "3" on everyone else's phone.

I agree with Steve. The ability to have bridged extensions appear on multiple phones is a vital to many business users. For Asterisk to seriously take on the Avaya's and Nortels and Cisco's of the world, this is a feature that needs to be implemented. It is apparent that this is not currently supported on Asterisk so I'd hope someone is looking at it for a new feature.

I take it SCA/BLA isn't going to make it into 1.4. Anyone have any idea when support will be added to asterisk for this? Sean
