Hi, does anybody made G723 or G729 to work with a GrandStream Phone ? I've a Cisco here and it works fine with G723, but not with my asterisk. Maybe I'm loosing my mind but I've just noticed that if I put a call on speakerphone and I press speakerphone again it hangs up the call, you would expect it to take the call off speaker back on to the hand piece. Hi there, I'm having problems with the Grandstream Budgetone 101 on hangup - "show channels"/"show channels concise" output is still showing the call's channels as active. After reading about these $75 SIP phones on this list, I purchased a couple for evaluation. They do work with asterisk - and are good value for money, but as somebody commented: they are not yet perfect. I've looked through the archives - and see questions similar to mine, but no answers. What, if anything, can be done to get the incoming Caller ID to be presented on the Budgetone's Caller ID display? In all other respects the phone+Asterisk seem to be extremely happy with each other.
