Asterisk success stories in small-mediumoffice environments?
I'm not really looking for working configurations as much as I am
looking for people who can say "This is a solid product and I trust my
business to a solution running Asterisk."
As far as pre-sales work... Well, tell that to my consultant.
I'm quite excited about *. I've got my company sold on it, they just
want some reassurance that it's ready for prime-time

inbound call routing problem - RESOLVED
Thanks we just figure it out a bit ago. It's amazing how simple some
things are when you just ask - and then realized that you were making it
too hard to begin with!! :-)

Samba <- Winbind -> Windows 2003 ADS Questions
Hi everyone,
I'm relatively new to Samba - at least for more in-depth installations.
Big Thank-You from my company to the brilliant developers responsible for
this software. We have our Samba server integrated with our Windows 2003
AD domain users via Winbind - a working installation with some issues
described below. getent passwd works as the many docs show (one entry

Asterisk success stories in small-medium office environments?
I am the network administrator at a small (20-30 employee) financial
company. We are in the process of moving offices and will be obtaining
a VoIP phone system when we do. Right now, it's down to the 3com nbx100
series and *. Having lurked on *-user for a few weeks and having seen
the nifty features of asterisk, I'm convinced. The price difference has
pretty much sold my superiors.

smbclient works, mount.cifs fails NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE in Samba 4.8.3
Hello,
I am attempting to debug an issue with my Samba configuration. It has been
working fine, but we recently updated Samba from 4.6.x to 4.8.3 and are now
seeing some issues authenticating.
Most of our servers are still working fine after the upgrade, but one
server is giving us issues. A little more environment info: The server is
running Centos 7.1. Windows clients can connect OK. We are

Problem with file ownerships on domain member server
Hi
I'm possibly missing something obvious, but I'm struggling with ownership permissions on a Samba server.
I have a Solaris 10 server running Samba 3.0.33. The server has been joined to the Active Directory domain (CSS).
Every user has both a Unix login (served by NIS) and a Windows Domain login account. I can connect to the Samba share and create files without any problems. The Samba

Supermicro PDSME+ and TE110P [ ref:00D36mPe.50033qy57:ref ] NEW CASE 22828
Hello,
Digium support kindly proposed to ship a TE120P card to help resolve the
issue.
I plugged in the card, and introduced the loopback plug. I cleared the
red alarm for a while and then i started seeing alarm switching from
Yel/Recovering to Blue/Rec with a lot of IRQ Misses.
I call Digium that assisted us, and we noticed IRQ sharing with the VGA
adapter and the Ethernet port.
