Re: Subscription state after reload (New subject)
Actually, I have tested this here with an Aastra 9133i and an Asterisk@Home server, and the 9133i will re-subscribe on its own after an Asterisk reboot, if you wait long enough. It took on the order of an hour to do so. Of course, a phone reboot will get it done faster, if necessary, but it _will_ eventually re-subscribe on its own. > Thanks Olle, > > So am I to understand that you

MGCP w/8x8 DTA-310 and as5300 pstn gateway
Hello folks, I'm trying to get an 8x8 DTA-310 running mgcp to work. I get no dialtone & can't get it to ring. My mgcp.conf says: ; ; MGCP Configuration for Asterisk ; [general] port = 2427 bindaddr = 0.0.0.0 [172.16.2.25] host = 172.16.2.25 context = default line => aaln/1 And here's the interesting bits of extensions.conf: [globals] ... TRUNK=H323/BYEXTENSION@pstn_gw ...

*lol* I think he was referring to a ASTERISK reboot, not a phone reboot. > -----Original Message----- > From: Olle E Johansson [mailto:oej@edvina.net] > Sent: Thursday, March 23, 2006 1:15 PM > To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion > Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] Re: Subscription state after reload (New > subject) > > > > 23 mar 2006 kl.

Re: Subscription state after reload (New subject)
How can a reload clear registrations? If I 'reload' without using realtime, I keep my sip peers (as well as astdb). I can still contact other phones... registration info is still there. If I `reload` with realtime, I lose my sip peers (but astdb remains). I can _STILL_ contact other phones.... registration info is still there and Asterisk must be referring to astdb to find the IP

toll-free anonymous
Hi, I'm Andrew. (Hi Andrew) I'm a toll-free number junkie. I've had an account with iax.cc/sixtel for about a week, and every few days, I find myself sitting at the DID menu clicking the link that reads "Click here to get a random toll free number". I have three toll-free numbers now, and I don't know if it will stop... Is there any hope for me? -- Andrew

reload without shutting imap connections down
Hello, we have some problems with users who report connectionproblems to dovecot sometimes. According to the logs there are dovecot reloads at this times. Seems that a reload also causes dovecot to shut all imapconnections down: Jul 16 13:31:40 myhostname dovecot: master: Warning: SIGHUP received - reloading configuration Jul 16 13:31:40 myhostname dovecot: imap: Server shutting down.

Eager loading wierdness
Consider this problem. I have an Item that has_many Features I want to find all Items with a Feature name of ''foo''. Normally you would do this.. @items = Item.find(:all, :conditions=>["features.name = ?", ''foo''], :include=>:features) This all works fine and dandy except for this problem. If you do this... <% for item in @items %>

SIP reload configuration problem /* New subject */
When creating users in the sip.conf file, they do not appear when running the "sip show users" command from the CLI until i restart. A reload doesnt make them appear. As i said, I am new to the whole Asterisk thing, however have worked with IP/SIP PBX's for a few years - its most likely a user problem though! Check it out and let me know what you get. Cheers Chris PS - I would try

has_and_belongs_to_many find
Say I have a post model that has_and_belongs_to_many :categories, and a category model that has_and_belongs_to_many :posts. So I have a categories_posts table to do the join. That''s all find and dandy. However I want to be able to find all the posts that belong to a specific category. I tried Post.find_by_category(:id) but that doesn''t work. Does anyone have any insight?

Custom voicemail extension greeting
Making custom "voicemail greetings" seems fairly straight forward, and I've done it. However, I'm looking for a way to make the actual extension answer with "You've reached my Jim Dandy voice mailbox, go take a flying . . .". (OK, so maybe not), instead of "The person at extension xxxx, is unavailable" Possible? Easy? Under my nose? joe a.

Why current mount connection don't close after remove from config and reload?
Well I am only guessing here, but I suspect if icecast works like other daemons reload just reloads the config but doesn't terminate current connections. You probably want /etc/init.d/icecast restart On 15 May 2018 12:35:39 AM NZST, "subscription at nextdial.com.br" <subscription at nextdial.com.br> wrote: >Hello, > >After removing a mount from the xml config

UEFI PXE boot & Microsoft DHCP
I'm currently using Microsoft DHCP to enable PXE booting. I've set options 66 and 67 for the relevant scopes and it's all fine and dandy. However, UEFI machines won't initiate PXE boot, they don't seem to recognize the options. Is there another setting that need to be set? And how to I filter UEFI clients so I set option 67 to the right value (lpxelinux.efi)? -- Alexandre

In Place Editor and Empty Fields
So, the InPlaceEditor with AJAX is all nice and dandy, works great. What about fields that don''t have any content? As far as I can tell, this doesn''t work so well - there''s nothing to click on so no edit form pops up... Am I missing something? HH

[LLVMdev] X86TargetMachineModule not helping
Hi all, After creating a new LLVM-based project, I faced an odd problem. ExecutionEngine::create always retuned null. After some investigation I found out that it was due to the target architecture not getting registered. I'm using Visual C++ 2005 and in the X86TargetMachine.cpp file an extern variable X86TargetMachineModule is created to 'ensure' that the module is linked in. It

XP woes
Working with Windows XP and debian Samba 2.2.3a on a box as my PDC. Sign or seal patch was applied. The past few days when we have been adding new computers running windows XP to the domain we have had machines tell us they have joined the domain, but when we try to log onto them using a "domain" account we get the following error on the PC: "The system could not log you on to
