Re: Assertion failure in journal_flush()
Hi all,
We encountered a problem by chance today, a kernel bug which causes the
following error:
Assertion failure in journal_fl sh() at journal.c:1310:
"!journal->j_running_transaction"
kernel BUG at journal.c:1310!
This happened while remounting an ext3 filesystem read-only. We often do
this and haven't seen this bug before, so I suspect some kind of race.

ISDN PBX + IVR + Voicemail Configuration - Sanity Check ...
Hi All,
First of all, please no flames about the footer of this message. It's being
inserted into all outgoing email by the server here without asking me
personally first once I send out email. Since I've been very interested in
setting up an Asterisk PBX + IVR + Voicemail system to support a small
business and a foundation for quite some time now, in order to replace their

3x AVM Fritz!Card PCI for a EuroISDN PBX.
Hi there!
I'm currently considering various PBX solutions for our office telephone
network, and would very much like to use Asterisk. Currently, my
research is incomplete. I have been recommended to use the above cards,
but it is unclear from my Googling whether my configuration will work:
- 3x Fritz!Card PCI's in one host.
- 3x 6 b-channels.
- ~20 Budgetone (and some others)

[FAX-ATA]--[PBX LAN]--[Firewall]--[PBX WAN]-----[upstream SIP]
On the PBX's we run Asterisk 1.4.33 with t38pt_udptl=yes in [general].
The FAX ATA is a Teles VoIPBox with T.38 support (that works). On the
PBX WAN, i see the following in udptl debug :
Sent UDPTL packet to 172.16.0.156:4460 (type 0, seq 184, len 32)
Got UDPTL packet from

OT- Re: ext3 filesystems larger than 8TB
I was basing that on the fact that she had secured Russian citizenship for
her children prior to the divorce, but I cannot get the complete details as I
just don't have the time these days to follow any story in great length.
I still stand behind the idea that it was a case of accidental manslaughter
that was attempted to be covered up.
Is there a court tv mailing list out there?

Opus application_mode==AUDIO, 20ms framing issue?
Hi Jean-Marc,
Sorry for late reply, thanks for interest. It's quality good for 10ms/audio, poorer for 20ms/audio. Quality equivalent for 10,20ms for mode=voip. PESQ was the tool that alerted me to something of interest, but I don't trust PESQ to almost any degree! It's good for hearing relative differences, of course, but not absolutes. Bitrate here was 28kbps, but I hear

I'm trying to convert the following text into an ordered list, but
when it hits the fourth level nested list, the list items aren't
converted into <li>'s. Is there a limit to how far you can nest a

Forcing repacketization on SIP to SIP call
Hi folks
I have a handset talking to Asterisk, which in turn puts the call through to
an ITSP.
The handsets likes to send audio in 40ms frames (even though Asterisk
requests 20ms frames with a ptime header in the SDP).
The ITSP doesn't request any particular frame length (with ptime) or state a
maximum length (with maxptime), so when Asterisk receives the 40ms media
frames from the handset,

byg report : "console=com1" and "Unknown interrupt"
hello,
I''m booting xen on iTuner over serial console. It seems to me
that it is bug that unless I explictly specify "console=com1"
I get unhelpfull message "Unknown Interrupt" and halt (infinite
loop).
sh-2.05b# /sbin/kexec -e
Starting new kernel
Unknown interrupt
adding "console=com1" fixes this problem for me so I doubt it
