5v capable motherboards
Anyone have a suggestion on where I can get a decent new MB with 5v
capable PCI slots. It seems like every decent server MB on the market
has 3.3V slots only.
Is diving into the junkbin my only choice if I can't afford to replace
the 5v quad-T1 wildcard?
Thanks

Outbound E&M?
I've got a new setup (different building) where Asterisk is sitting
between the PBX and phone company on a E&M T1 line.
Mitel PBX <-> Asterisk <-> Phone company
Inbound works. Asterisk gets the in-band digits from the phone company
and hands the call off to the Mitel just fine.
Outbound is weird. Asterisk seems to expect that the mitel will send
routing information

zaptel ppp HDLC Receiver Overrun messages
I have a pair of sites tied together with a T1 line running zaptel PPP
on either end. The system works, but I keep getting these messages in
the kernel logs, and users are reporting connection problems (TCP
timeouts, and hangs) especially under high usage.

modem passthru
Our setup is:
9.6k Modem <-analog-> Mitel SX-200 <-(pri)-> Asterisk <-(pri) -> Telco
The modem works fine with the Mitel directly connected to the Telco, but
once we add Asterisk in between connections start failing.
I suspect the issue is caused by the echo canceller, since I believe the
issue appear about the time we turned echo cancellation on (for the IAX
users). We

PRI Dialing failure?
So I reached the point where my PRI is accepting incoming calls, but I
cannot dialout. I must be doing something stupid, but I can't figure it
out. The Asterisk box is sitting between the Mitel and the phone company,
and has PRI lines to each. Asterisk was built from CVS r1-0

Application.rb params
I need to check if a parameter is set so that I can build some information
for my application, but No matter how I format my if statement in the file "

You might have expected an instance of Array.
The error occurred while evaluating nil.[]

Wildcard remote looping
Is there something special that needs to be done to allow a T100P/T400
to respond to a remote loop request?
I am having some issues with a Point to point T1 line using zaptel ppp.
This line gave us small problems when we had a pair of Cisco 2600's on
either end but now with the zaptel ppp it is going down every couple of
minutes for 15 intervals.
The phone company says the line is good to

help interpreting output?
Dear R experts,
I'm hoping someone can help me to interpret the results of building
gam's with mgcv in R.
Below are summaries of two gam's based on the same dataset. The first
gam (named "gam.mod") has six predictor variables. The second gam
(named "gam.mod2") is exactly the same except it is missing one of the
predictor variables. What is confusing me is

tieline digit timeout
I'm connecting to an NEC t1 card via t100p (working great so far!)
however I'm having problems dialing from the NEC system to an asterisk
extension (sip-grandstream). If I hit the trunck line and dial REAL
quick 103 I get the sip extension ringing; if I don't I get an invalad
selection message from asterisk - and I can see on the console only one
or two digits arrived.
How can I

Digit timeouts vs includes in diaplan
Hi,
I have a little situation with my dialplan, and I am wondering if what I
want is even possible.
Here it is: I have three contexts, context1 includes contexts2, and context2
includes context3. In other words, in context1 all extensions of context2
and context3 are valid (and actually working, so that's good). I am using
those context for the sake of code clarity and reuse, and for

samba AIX / NT network issue
I'm running samba on an AIX 4.3.3 server which has NT4.0 SP6a clients
connecting. Since I've had so much trouble with it I compiled 2.2.4 with
GCC on the server and it didn't do any good. Grasping for straws I had our
netadmin come over and help me interpet what kinds of errors we were
receiving.
The symptom of the problem first off is that when the clients are browsing

Inter-Digit delay when dialing out
Okay, I see that there is no way to shorten the inter-digit delay when
we dial out DTMF. The reason I need this is because when dialing a
two-stage call, the PDD can be shortened dramatically while still
working fine, and that opens whole new world of business. But many
people confused dialing-out with receiving DTMF, which is not what we
are concerned with.
If it is impossible to configure the

PRI to PRI not passing callerid
I must be doing something stupid, but I can't figure it out.
I have three PRI lines connected to Asterisk, one from the phone
company, and two more connected to PBXs. Asterisk uses the incoming DID
information to decide which PBX to route the call to. Should be simple.
Asterisk is clearly getting the caller id info from the phone company:

Inter-digit timers on t100
Hello all-
So I have * up and running and connected to a legacy system via em_w lines
and have no trouble dialing from * through the tie line but from the PBX
across the tie line I am having intermittant receipt of the DTMF. T-Berd
testing is showing that the digits are coming across but * is either missing
the first digit consistantly.
This seems to me to have something to do with start timers
