Hi, Using 1.4.26.1 & DAHDI 2.2.0.2, FSK VMWI devices off a TDM840 work fine. With 1.6.1.[45] & same DAHDI, instead of the FSK spill I get a line polarity reversal. Stutter dialtone is generated as expected. Has anyone else seen this? Is there anything special I need to do for 1.6.1 to make FSK MWI work? Thanks, --Barry

May be I have fiddled too much with my sipura settings but I can't get it to give the stutter tone when there is a new voice mail waiting on the asterisk box. I can either get a stutter tone all the time or not at all. Anyone got this working. Thanks Chris

I recently set up Asterisk with an Adtran TA750. All is well except the phones do not show the MWI. I have configured zapata.conf properly, as all phones will receive a stutter dial tone if there is a message waiting in it's assigned mailbox. Does anybody know how I might fix this problem? I have a quick question... In the previous thread http://www.marko.net/asterisk/archives/0210/0306.html it is mentioned Mark added support for MWI to the chan_zap. Is this in the zapata.conf and if so, if stutter is turned on then the MWI is turned on with it? Geoff

I have an intermittent problem with the one FXS line that I have. On most calls, the first ~5 seconds of the call has a loud buzzing noise on the line. This is a wierd one. Can't figure it out. I have an SPA-3000 at the house handling my incoming line. It's setup to direct the incoming call to asterisk. Works great 99% of the time. A few times a day, I'm getting calls that ring once internally and are then hungup. I managed to get a detailed log [1] of what's happening today and it looks to me that the SPA is acting wierd.

Using a TE410P with Zhone 24FXS channel banks to power standard analog phones I can't seem to find out if it's possible to support FSK or voltage type message waiting lamps. I don't want to use stutter dial tone because of the dramatic difference in per phone cost. TIA

Anyone out there using AT-320 phones with IAX? Can you get MWI to work? I can only get it to work with SIP. Also, I note that (on the phone) dtmf has to be set to "sip info" or dtmf doesn't seem to work at all (when the phone's under SIP). Sounds like the IAX firmware isn't all that finished? Eric.

Hey all...I'm trying to find a phone that will support multiple MWI so that I can have a shared central phone with say 4 users who can see visually that hey have messages waiting. Is there any phone that will do this possibly by re-assigning a soft-button? Can the Polycoms do this since those seem to be the phone of choice these days? Thanks!

Sorry for the partial post a moment ago With help I got two phones communicating - PCMA/PCMU was the problem. Next stpe is to try voicemail. VM works fine, I can leave a mesage and then retrieve it - but no MWI on the phone and no stutter dialtone.
