Asterisk Inbound calls, multiple SIP accounts, calledID
Hi Dmitriy and others and thanks for your help so far.
The option "match_auth_username=yes" seems to have had no effect. From my
reading, this option will try to match the username of the incoming SIP
account to a section heading. If that is how it must work then i can see a
big problem. I'm trying to present the receptionist with a nice display of
which line the call came in on.

transfer FSMO roles from Windows DC
I have the Active Directory domain with Windows 2008 R2 domain controller and Samba domain controller on CentOS 7. Samba is 4.3.5 (self-compiled). Forest and domain levels are Windows 2008 R2.
After joining Samba to the domain as the domain controller there were no DC=ForestDnsZones and DC=DomainDnsZones records on "OUTBOUND NEIGHBORS". I fixed it with ntdsutil, as it's written here

SIP permit/deny
I have the following in sip.conf. It was my understanding that this configuration (ie with deny/permit) would only allow connections from hosts 192.168.10.4 and 192.168.10.5. That doesn't seem to be the case. Asterisk is accepting INVITE's from other addresses.

Asterisk Inbound calls, multiple SIP accounts, calledID
Hello all,
I have an Asterisk server (Asterisk 10.12.4) with multiple sip accounts
with the same service provides. We have 8 phone numbers in total.
Incoming calls from the public are all correctly directed to appropriate
office handsets. However, the display on the reception phone (the only one
i care about) is always showing the same "SIP/Account1_0843214321" rather
than the account

calls to for example longdistant calls?
Maybe:
Put in his context in sip.conf
context which don't provide possibility to make such calls?
Is it correct?
thanks for any help,

Asterisk in pass-thru mode
Hi all,
Below is what I did to run Asterisk in pass-thru mode:
sip.conf:
[general]
disallow=all
allow=ulaw
canreinvite=yes
For each channel, canreinvite=yes is enabled. No dial command has 't' option.
However, it seems that Asterisk still stay in the media path and bridge the 2 end points. Am I missing something???

error message trying to plot survival curves from hypothetical covariate profiles
Dear colleagues,
following John Fox' advice in this article (http://cran.r-project.org/doc/contrib/Fox-Companion/appendix-cox-regression.pdf), I'm trying to create a new data frame to examine the differential survival curves from a combination of covariates.
These are derived from a Cox Proportional Hazards model I fit to data about the diffusion of a particular policy across American

Hypothetical IAX2 situation
Two * servers: *a and *b.
Outside call comes in *b, and is automatically routed to *a. Someone on
a sip phone connected to *a then decides to transfer the call to someone
on a sip phone connected to *b. The transfer works.
At this point, is *a still in the converstation? Or is * smart enough
to see where the data stream is going/coming from?
Thanks for any help in advanced, and sorry if

Owtch, my ears. :( I find that 16 kHz beep most irritating, it hurts
even at low volumes. ;P

samba + mit krb5 + ldap hypothetical
Hi all,
I've read through much of the list archives and other various docs and
am now more confused than ever regarding how samba interacts with
external services. All of the docs seem to assume that a Windows AD
server is part of the picture when ldap/krb5 are involved.
What I'm trying to do is set up a samba fileserver that Windows clients
can connect to via something like:

A hypothetical question ....
First of all, this isn't a troll or a flame, it's a serious question.

Is *ANYONE* known to have *EVER* gotten WINE to work with any Xserver
other than XFree86? (AccelX, MetroX?)
When was the last time anyone *tested* it on anything other than XFree86?
I ask this because, about five years or so ago, I was using the WINE that
was current at the time on XFree86 with a

Multiple tennants, two DIDs, One IAX provider
I would like to setup a system with two tennants with two seperate DIDs through one IAX provider account.
Is it possible to route the calls into different contexts based on the DID dialed?
I have searched and found nothing. I do not see anywhere in the console that says what DID was dialed so I am thinking two seperate accounts are needed to make this work. Can anyone confirm?
Thanks

Hypothetical question - for the devs...
Hello everybody.
I know this is user forum - but I also know that developers "lurks" in here from time to time. So I would like to ask... what do you (developers) think is the biggest issue in wine development? Is it money? How much would wine development process speed up if Codewavers would start selling... let say, 10 times more licenses for Crossover then they sell now? Would it be a

hypothetical prediction after polr
Dear R-Help listers,
I am trying to estimate an proportional odds logistic regression model
(or ordered logistic regression) and then make predictions by
supplying a hypothetical x vector. However, somehow this does not
work. I guess I must have missed something here. I first used the polr
function in the MASS package, and I create a data frame and supply it
to the predict function (see below):

A hypothetical question...
I know this is casting a wide net, but If you were charged with building a
large, public VOIP network with multiple PSTN gateways, the capacity to
carry a lot of traffic and bill clients accurately, what pieces (brands,
makes, models) would you use to assemble the solution? Assume that $$$ is
not an issue.

Predicting and Plotting "hypothetical" values of factors
Last Friday, I noticed that it is difficult to work with regression
models in which there are factors. It is easier to do the old fashioned
thing of coding up "dummy" variables with 0-1 values. The predict
function's newdata argument is not suited to insertion of hypothetical
values for the factor, whereas it has no trouble with numeric variables.
For example, if one uses a

Strip location and grid colour in Lattice
I am probably missing something quite obvious, but any help would be
appreciated. I am continually getting people misreading the lattice plots
because they are expecting the strip (with the factor names in them) to be
below the graph. Is there anyway of achieving this.
Secondly, from a more personal note I find the grid formed by the axes to be
a bit overpowering and would like to make it a

I'm dealing with the following issue here:

Although it starts with OpenChange, it ends with Samba4 so I very much hope that somebody on this list can help me out.
Basically I try to authenticate users through the Outlook autoconfigurator using RPC-OVER-HTTP to a samba server. The problem is that in Samba4/LDAP I cannot have
