ISDN busy line
I'm trying using Asterisk over an isdn line. I configured my Eicon Diva
card by the hisax module and it works with the Asterisk's chan_modem
(and chan_modem_i4l) driver. The problem is that I can receive calls (on
/dev/ttyI0) but when I make a call I always have the line busy (on
ttyI0 but even if I use an other device like ttyI1). This is a part of
my consol output:

Accessing ISDN with avm bluetooth hardware
Hi *,
This is my first message to this list, so I hope I am not breaking any rule with my post.
My question is the following: can I establish a voice connection over an ISDN interface by using a
bluetooth dongle to connect to the ISDN access point?
Here follow the details:
I have compiled and configured asterisk. Everything seems fine except that when I configure
asterisk to use the ISDN

Hi to everyone!
I am new to this list and i want to greet you all!

ISDN PBX + IVR + Voicemail Configuration - Sanity Check ...
Hi All,
First of all, please no flames about the footer of this message. It's being
inserted into all outgoing email by the server here without asking me
personally first once I send out email. Since I've been very interested in
setting up an Asterisk PBX + IVR + Voicemail system to support a small
business and a foundation for quite some time now, in order to replace their

Busy message on ISDN cards?
Hi all,
I'm new to asterisk and not too knowledgeable on ISDN, so please be gentle :)
I have a dual-channel Eicon Diehl Diva card in a Debian Woody box with
kernel 2.4.27, connecting to a Telstra (Australia) Onramp Home Highway
ISDN line. I'm pretty certain the card and line both work since
they've been used in this machine for PPP before this (but with an
older kernel with DoV

Leftover sound on isdn modem channel
Hi,
I have a strange problem on some isdn modem channels. (* 1.0.9 /
chan_modem / 2xHFC-S cards).
Everything works fine but when the 2nd (and 3rd etc..) call comes in and
* answers and there is about a 1/2 second of sound from the previous
call (ivr) before the sound from the new call is heard. It just sounds
bad and is quite annoying.
I am assuming this is sound that is still in a buffer

Routing inboud from ISDN to second * server.
Hi All,
I have setup 2 asterisk servers using AAH 2.8. I have configured a IAX2
trunk between the 2 servers using the guide on dumbme. Trunk is not using
register string and no authentication.
In my dial plan I have 7XX numers on server B and 6xx numbers on Server A.
Calls from my SNOM phones are ok between the extensions on the 2 servers.
In server A I have a eicon 4 port BRI card connected.

Hardware advice for 100 extensions, routing via ISDN
I would be grateful for some comments on our proposed machine specs for
a new Asterisk installation at a client with an initial 70 extensions.
The system should be able to handle 100 extensions. The system will have
the following main features:
- PSTN connection via ISDN 30, dealing with all incoming calls.
Outgoing will be through ISDN initially
- 70-100 Snom 300 handsets
- 1-2

RE: SNOM 190 '486/Busy here' after upgrade to re 3.60s
AHA! # 1 is the case! Seems the user was fooling around with the phone after
the firmware upgrade. Shame that that setting couldn't be locked out. Thanks
to Mr Tahir and Mr Stredicke for their spot on responses.

connect asterisk to isdn bri connection
I am trying to connect asterisk to my PCI ISDN BRI

snom reporting busy when it shouldn't - Email found in subject
Check the Redirection on the web interface of your Snom 200. If it says
"When Busy" that's your problem. It should say "Never".
Also make sure on Sip->Lines your line appearance says "All" or else you
will have the same problem.
Hope this helps :)

SNOM 190 '486/Busy here' after upgrade to firmware 3.60s
Looks like this phone has redirection or DND set. Anything on the
display? If it still a mystery send us the settings of the phone, then
it should become clear.
BTW if you have a snom trouble ticket, you can also go to
http://www.snom.com/onlinesupport.html (scroll down to set up an

I am so far unable to get the busy lamps on a Snom 220 to work either with

I am using the hint extension and the Snom 220 just as described in the

SNOM 190 '486/Busy here' after upgrade to firmwa re 3.60s
I have a Snom 190 that refuses to accept calls after upgrade to firmware
3.60s, latest. I get "SIP 486/Busy Here". No change in the dialplan, nor
settings in the phone. Calls out fine. I did 30 other phones yesterday with
3.60s with no problem, this is the only one. In the phone's log I get:
