Channelbanks for use in europe (Sweden)
Hi!
Is there anyone that are using a E1-channelbank and have any tips about some
type? Im looking at the TE410P and use one port for a PRI (Euro-ISDN, I
think we're using some slightly modified version here in Sweden, but I'll
check that tomorrow) and connect one port to a channelbank for 30 analogue
telephones.
It would also be great to get callerid on the analogue phones, so it would

PSTN to VoIP FXO gateways?
Sure would like to hear experiences using various FXO to VoIP gateways
with *. It seems that any thread that has anything to do with
problematic FXO interfaces goes on forever with speculation about
everything under the sun. Unless there is someone out there with the
engineering experience to build a better one it is a waste of time, let
Digium deal with it. If the TDM400P can ever be made 99.99%

X100P & T100P knock-off boards
Do they fall under FCC certification if they're built to the same
specifications as the ones from Digium? If I build my own T100Ps from the
schematics and board layouts that are available, are they legal to plug
into the PSTN?

* as pri_net?
If you have used * to support a pri as pri_net (as opposed to pri_cpe),
either to talk to another * system or a PBX of some sort, I would be very
interested in hearing about your experiences. Imparticular, I would like
to know that it works before I invest in the extra hardware.

Moving up... T1 with 50 extensions
OK, I think I'm ready for the next step from the X100P. Splitting a T1 with a
T100P and a channel bank/s ~ 50 extensions.
I think the existing system uses NEC phones for ~34 extensions, I don't know
the specific model yet of the phones or the channel bank.
If the channel bank is not compatible with Asterisk/digium what brand should I
be looking at to interface best with Asterisk and

Stability and motherboard questions with TE406P and TE410P
I am having a problem with asterisk not being stable enough for production
use. I have two cards, the digium TE406P, and the TE410P. The TE410P is
the primary card that I am using but I would like to move to the TE406P for
the echo cancellation and more flexibility of PCI slots available.

Does anyone know if the E1 cards that digium sells work in India. Also are

Clicks, pops and noise
Hi all,
I've got a TE410p connected via T1 to four channel banks (2 FXO and 2 FXS), no PRIs.
Some users are complaining that they hear clicks and pops on the FXS lines,
generally when they pick up the phone it's noisy. This happens only after a
while, e.g. after a fresh restart of everything, all is fine but after some time
these noises start appearing. From what I've read on the

I'm looking for a good voip hardphone that has a decent set of the

quality, and isn't too pricey. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Need some input for Quad T1 and channel banks.
I'm looking to install a system with 80 FXS analog phones.
At this time the only cost effective solution is using a 4 port T1 card and
addit 600 channel bank.
Has anyone tried this solution? any good documents beside

Using channel banks
Hello Everyone,
What kind of hardware setup would I need to do if I want a T1 connection to PSTN
and have 48 users in office with analog phones. Will something work if I have a
T410P card in asterisk and have one T1 going to PSTN and other two to a channel
bank. I would then connect the 48 phones (FXS) to the channel bank! Thanks.

MWI question
Using a TE410P with Zhone 24FXS channel banks to power
standard analog phones I can't seem to find out if it's possible to
support FSK or voltage type message waiting lamps. I don't want to
use stutter dial tone because of the dramatic difference in per phone
cost.

Quick questions ( maybe a little confidence building too )
Hi all. First thing: I want to thank you all for your help over the
past month as I've been learning asterisk. This is one of the more
helpful lists. Even when I ask questions that have answers in the wiki
( which I missed because I've been over studying ).
Second thing is this: My office is scouting out VoIP solutions, and I
have suggested an asterisk solution. We will be

Two zaptel T1 cards: no clock from one
List,
I have a TE410P (T1 mode, all PRI) and a T100P (fxoks, for fxs channel
bank). I cannot seem to get the T100P to send any clock to the
channel bank. I prefer that it use the same clock source as the
TE410P, but it doesn't matter if it's not in sync just as long as it's
there.
The TE410P is configured 3x pri_cpe, 1x pri_net. The three cpe go to

Planning Asterisk
Hello,
I'm planning to convert my phone system to Asterisk, as I've outgrown my
TalkSwitch system. I have a few questions for experienced * users, most
of which can be answered yes/no.
Current Setup:
- Talkswitch 48NLS (4CO/8Ext) phone system.
- One CO line, two Vonage lines, one Voicepulse line connected to phone
system
- A third Vonage line directly connected to a fax machine
- A
