echo cancelation on Digium T1 cards
Hello all, I am getting console debug messages about "tone detected on channel XX, disabling echo cancelation on channel XX" when using echocancel=yes with a Digium T1 card. does this mean that DTMF breaks the echo can? Does Asterisk permanently disable the echo can or is it for that channel instance only?

echo problem
I have searched for how to locate echo cancelation on SIP clients, but cant find anything and echocancel=y doesnt seem to have any effect. Echo
I used to get bad echo and also voice breaking up during a conversation, so I upgraded the machine (from a PII 300 to a Athlon 1.8GHz) and have resolved the voice breaking up issues but still seem to have a fairly bad echo on *both* sides of the conversation. TE405P and echo

Hi ! I have a Digium TE411P with echo cancelation board. I'm not sure if i need to enable the "echocancelation=yes" in the zapata.conf file. Channelized T1, SIP phones, HW Echo Canceller
I have a channelized T1 coming in from our telco, terminated onto a TE405. There are three channelbanks serving internal analog extensions, and about 10 Cisco 7960s. chan_zap.c - echo cancelation getting in the way of dialing????
It seems consistant after dialing dozens of times that the call that doesn't go through is the one the gets the log message "No echocancellation requested" (chan_zap.c) and the "Scheduleing timer" (channel.c) in the middle of receiving the DTMF tones. Reducing echo on FXS port

Very bad quality with AVM Fritz!card PCI and chan_capi

Echo Cancelation on TE110P
On a 55 station install onto a Cox PRI with a TE110P (Polycom 501 phones) a few users are complaiining about echo. According to the users, the echo seems to be phone number dependant.
