ISDN
Hi,
I am using a Netjet-s ISDN Card, and am having some trouble dialling out
(Incoming Works Fine).
TRUNK=Modem/ttyI0

exten => _90XXXXXXXXX,2,Congestion
I get the following when diallingout:

DTMF in the middle of a call
I found this old post using a Google search for DTMF tones heard during
an Asterisk call. The calling party does not hear them, only the called
party.
We are experiencing this sporadic DTMF "beep" followed by a momentary
silence on a random number of our calls. This happens on trunk to SIP
and SIP to SIP calls, so it's not PRI related.
Since this thread is dated 2003, and the

dtmf tone clamping in calls to external ivr
Hello,
I'm having trouble working out how to send DTMF tones to an external
IVR. My system has an analog phone connected to a TDM400P card, a SIP
software phone (Zultys LIPZ4) and is connected to a BRI in Australia
with a NETjet-S card. I'm using ISDN4Linux and a 2.4.25 kernel patched
with the ISDN audio patch from Traverse (which allows the card to do
voice).
DTMF works fine between

NetJet Cards
Hello,
I am trying to use 2 netjet cards under asterisk and isdn4linux. I am
having a hard time trying to get them to work in terms of dial out. Does
anyone have a working config I could look at for even one card (tried
that, not much luck either).
When i dial out:

Hi All,
I've successfully got SIP and IAX2 working on Asterisk using X-Lite as a
SIP phone and talking to a remote Asterisk over IAX2 using G729.
I'm now trying to get an ISDN BRI connection working. I have a Traverse

OT: Creating documentation using a web interface
Hello all,
I would like to document some things I am doing with asterisk, but would
prefer to do this from a web interface. I am unfamiliar with any
software that allows you to create online documentation from a web
interface. Ideally I will be able to create documentation online from a
browser, which then when saved, is immediately ready to be read online.
Perhaps I can setup different authors

Where to purchase ISDN (BRI) cards in Australia (preferably)
Hello all,
I was wondering if anybody knows where one might obtain a PCI ISDN
card supporting a single BRI for use with Asterisk in Australia (and
using something like chan_capi).
Because of the Isdn4Linux DTMF issue, I don't want one of those cards.
I've already spent too much time messing about with my current card.
I'm after something like the AVM Fritz! cards. I found one place

isdn4linux, NETjet, chan_modem help needed
I'm trying to get a basic Asterisk configuration together for ISDN incoming
/ outgoing calls. I have two Cisco 7905g phones working (at least talking to
each other) and have purchased a NETjet-S PCI ISDN card for routing calls to

The state I've managed to get it to is:-

(euro)ISDN: complete silence / can't hear a word.
Hello,
I just got my isdn-card working together with i4l and asterisk.
Everything seems to be working fine: I can accept calls coming from the
outside and I can dial out. Even setting the msn works like charm but my
problem is that I cannot hear a word. There's complete silence in both
directions.
Any idea what could be the cause?
Thanks for your help,
Gunther

Cisco, Sip, Linux, ISDN
I am one of the few people left in the US with a ISDN connection to the
internet. (Internet cable has been promised "Real Soon Now" for a couple
years). Worse, my home network runs on a decrepit Cisco 2500 series
router, and is double-natted via a firewall, which is why I currently
use iax to call anywhere.
I have been making ever-increasing use of my asterisk PBX, and I'm ready

NetJet and RAS
Hi,
Last weekend I was planning to buy a physical PBX system, but instead I
have been blown away by the fact that VoIP really works, that Asterisk
is so easy to set up and use... and free!
We're in Australia, so as I understand it, we aren't allowed to use the
Zaptel cards. We need to set up our system to route incoming 56K data
calls to the PPP daemon on our Linux box or to our

isdn, modem, etc.
I see many posts about using ISDN cards and modem cards.
Does this mean I can use a regular modem (that supports voice) as an
FXS, or FXO ?
If so, can you provide an example.
It might be the easiest way to test Asterisk's collaboration with the
PSTN (or analog phones) and provide proof of concept to non-believers.
Thanks.
