chan_capi-cm and type of number problem (ToN)
Hi! I have problems with the ToN configurations in chan_capi-cm. I understand how incoming calls are rewritten using national and international prefix. But for outgoing calls - what is the ToN? Further, is there any debug info of the Ton? "capi debug" and the divactrl dchannel both show the CLI and CDLI, but do not show the ToN. How can I set the ToN? I suspect chan_capi to use the

eicon diva BRI problems
Hi (Armin?) ! Today I had a problem with Diva Server 4BRI-8M 2.0. Asterisk 1.2.12.1 chan_capi-cm-0.6.5 divas4linux-melware-3.0.f-106.622-1 Asterisk could not receive and make calls on the BRI ports, although the ports looked fine within Asterisk. I usually use "/usr/lib/divas/divactrl dchannel -c 1" to test line activity. This time there was no activity (cryptic log

I have a (really two) producci?n system(s) running chan_capi in another identical Eicon Card using kernel 2.4.27 and the Diva Server drivers from Eicon. I installed an compiled the source level rpm

[Sorta OT] Eicon DIVA with asterisk@home
Hi; I've got an AAH installation where a customer wants to install an active Eicon DIVA BRI card. AAH is built on Centos 3.5 which is currently at kernel 2.4.21.37. Support for Eicon active cards is built-in. I've debugged and run the A@H install-Eicondiva script but when I try to run divactrl load -c 1 -f ETSI -Debug I get a response : A: can't get card type for DIVA adapter

low-level dump for PRI dchan debugging
I've been going back and forth with my telco for several days, trying different configurations to get a new PRI to come up. The bchannels are all up and the T1 is not in alarm status. The dchannel refuses to come up however. We've tried ni2, qsig, and now dms100 for the switchtype. The telco tech I've been working with says that he's been sending "reset all channels"

using a Gigaset SX440isdn on a Diva 4BRI ?
Hello, I just received a couple SX440isdn phones and was wondering if they can be plugged into a Diva 4BRI port in NT mode and work with asterisk+chan_capi? I know they probably work fine with mutliHFC cards with either bristuff of chan_misdn but since I have some spare Divas, I was curious about their potential as phone ports. The Diva's 3 and 4 ports are already set to NT mode at boot

CAPI on ptp with variable length digits in phonenumber: SOLUTION for EICON
Hello! I finally found a working solution. calling divactrl with the parameter -n [0..20] gives the DID-length means, if you wanna have 123-XXX in digit-wise mode, then call divactrl load -c 1 -n 3 -f ETSI and the card will wait for n digits. regards, Sebastian -----Urspr?ngliche Nachricht----- Von: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com]

chan_capi
Hi chan_capi users, this thing is awesome, no delays like in modem_i4l! Plus, it got those nice ISDN features. Here's my question: Does my service provider (Deutsche Telekom) have to provide me with these Services (CD, ECT)? (the Readme in 0.2.5 says "does not relay on service CD") I know, that I don't have CFU,CFNR,CFBS (which I would have to order seperately). How likely

change dchannel number
Hi: I'm using a te110p E1 card in Spain. There is way to change the dchan channel number? Here in Spain there is a voice company that works with dchannel in channel number 31. I must to set channels from 1 to 30 and dchan to 31 but when asterisk loads the chan_zap.c it says that channel 16 is reserve for dchan. Can you help me? Cheers. -- Jos? Luis Garc?a Ext. identifying Eicon Diva Server V-4BRI-8M vs 4BRI-8M
Hi (Armin)! Does someone knows how to identify the type of the card? The delivery note says it is a V-4BRI-8M, whereas lspci reports a 4BRI-8M. What is it really? Are there any Eicon tools to identify the card type? thanks klaus 0000:0a:03.0 Network controller: Eicon Networks Corporation Diva Server 4BRI-8M Rev 2 (rev 01) Subsystem: Eicon Networks Corporation Diva Server 4BRI-8M Rev

Eicon Diva Server 4BRI
Hi Everybody, Has anybody tried the above (or indeed any other 4XBRI cards) successfully with Asterisk. As far as I can see the above mentioned card is an active ISDN card but supported by it's own I4L driver. This leads to interesting questions particularly regarding echo cancellations (which usually doesn't work on the cheap passive cards with one exception as far as I can see).

Nortel Meridian Opt 81C and PRI
We've been trying unsuccessfully to connect our Meridian Option 81C to a TE110P via PRI. We've followed the directions in asterisk-meridian-a1.pdf (link on http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+legacy+integration), but it doesn't seem to work on our 81C (even though many, many users report it works very well on Option 11's). Has anyone had any success in getting the above

Eicon Diva Server with v3.0 drivers
Hi, I'm trying to get an Eicon Diva Server4BRI card running under Ubuntu 6.06 - by downloading the v3 driver package from Melware and compiling everything. Yet, after activating the necessary modules (divas and divadidd) and interactively configuring the card (/usr/lib/divas/Config), starting up the adapter fails! The error "/usr/lib/divas/divactrl load -c 1 -Debug" produces

RE: Euro-ISDN
asterisk-users-request@lists.digium.com is believed to have said: >chan_capi does not set the NT-mode. Your cards driver need to do that. >E.g. for Eicon DIVA Server cards, you just set the '-x' option with divactrl >or set NT-mode in the config wizard. >chan_capi does not (need) to know anything about what protocol the card is >doing.
