problem with Wildcard 100XP and hangup signal
Hi,
We are currently testing Asterisk with Wildcard 100XP and serveral Cisco ATA Box. Everything works great except
that the card does not detect the hangup signal. We are using a standard Belgian PSTN line. I have not found
anything about a be zone (only us, fr, de, nl, ...). Does someone experience the same problem? Do I need to create
a new zone be (and how to do that)?

I've had a few problems with my system holding the line after a call has
been made, just now I rebooted and noticed the following in
/var/log/messages

in the file wcfxo.c the following structure is initialised as below
which would suggest that FCC is wrong for France or pretty well all of
Europe.

weighted average grouped by variables
Dear Massimo,
It seems straightforward to use weighted.mean() in a dplyr context
library(dplyr)
mydf %>%
group_by(date_time, type) %>%
summarise(vel = weighted.mean(speed, n_vehicles))
Best regards,

New Zealand indications.conf
Hi Vic,
I hit that same problem! My SIP phones would sound okay when I made
changes to indications.conf but incoming calls in to my TE410P had their
own thing going on!
Have a look at the zaptel source files, there's one called zonedata.c.
You'll see the au settings... replace what's there with this:
{ 1, "au", "Australia", { 400, 200, 400, 2000 },

Keep on getting message errors when trying to install and load packages
Dear Paul,
We install R in C:/R/R-x.y.z and packages in C:/R/library. This makes
the packages location independent from the R version.

What's with Indications/SetLanguage/Zaptel/RingBack ?
Good morning everybody,
Can someone explain to me the interconnection between
these four things: indications.conf, SetLanguage(), zaptel.conf
and ring-back ? If there is any !! :- )
I am having this case where some users cannot hear ring back
from a DeadAGI script and it seems to be interconnected to these items.
These users are from the iaxfriends table, they _can_ hear ring-back from

Asterisk Indications
Hi,
Just wondering if someone could better explain how the indications.conf file
actually affects Asterisk?
I am using a Cisco 7940 from my Asterisk system, and have set in
indications.conf "country=au" thinking that this would make the
dialtones/call progress sound like the familiar Australian tones?
However when I call another extension on my system, it still sounds like

Overriding indications for IAX2 calls
Hello all,
We have incoming PSTN service from a provider through IAX2 which works fine.
However, when calls are ringing here (and when we transfer calls), the
remote caller hears the indications (ringback, etc) provided by the remote
system rather than ours.
I was wondering if anybody knows if it is possible to somehow send our
indications, rather than have the remote Asterisk box send them?

Asterisk and SER - choppy sound with G.729
Hi,
We are using Asterisk running on FreeBSD, as IVR / Voicemail for SER. We have redirected certain calls from SER to *. On * there is some 'testing' extension. It's simply playing some demo now ;-)
As long as I use plain G.711 the sound is nice. When I switch to G.729 the sound is choppy, not recognizable. What is going on? Debug shows everything is normal..
I understand that all
