Hangup Issues on TDM40B FXO Australia
Afternoon all,
After doing some test on my asterisk box I can successfully receive
calls to my Asterisk PBX to a SIP phone from The Telstra PSTN network
Dial out from a sip phone is also not an issue, all calls connect and
terminate normally.
If I call the Asterisk PBX say from PSTN in Zap1-1 and out through
ZAP2-2 back to the PSTN (after entering the correct pin off course) the
card does not

TDM400P and AGGRESSIVE_SUPPRESSOR dropping calls
Hi, I had been using 4 X100P cards in my Asterisk box, but 2 of them
were sharing an interrupt. Therefore, periodically I would hear beeps
and clicks that I had assumed were a result of this. So, I ordered a
TDM400P with 4 FXO modules and installed it in the box last night.
Today, we've had nothing but problems with it dropping calls.
I installed the latest CVS of everything, and we've

busydetect and X100P hangups
FYI to anyone else who may be experiencing random hangups; I removed the
busydetect=yes lines from the conf files on my asterisk servers, and
haven't had a hangup since.
I had done that once before and it didn't seem to have much of an
effect, so I'm not breaking out the champagne yet. But so far over
dozens of calls both made and received since I took that line out, I

X100P - Busydetect / calls being disconnected - Australia; tip.
Hi All,
This isn't really a question, but it's an issue I experienced that was
driving me crazy for a few days, so I thought it might be good for the
archives.
Basically what was happening was everytime a particular customer called
(long distance), the line would disconnect immediately after answering.
I thought it might have been the phone, so I swapped the phone with
another - still

Asterisk Randomly Hanging up on Zap channels
Hi List,
I've got * randomly hanging up on inbound or outbound calls on zap
channels. I use a Digitnetworks X100P clone card. Any idea of what might
be happening?
Cheers,
Jean-Michel.

Hang up not hanging up (New Zealand Indications??)
Hi there,
I have a new asterisk working in New Zeland and everything is working
well except when an incoming call to the PSTN hangs up, asterisk wont
hang up the zap trunk (X100P).
I have found this information:
http://bugs.digium.com/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0001474
Which discusses my problem and i have made sure that i have the latest
info in the indications.conf as follows:

X100P random hangups.
I have a couple of X100P's in my system and while on calls they just randomly hang up for no reason.
I have tried messing with the busydetect and callprogress setting them to yes and no same and still random hangups. Is there another setting I should be looking at?
My zap config looks like.
context = inbound-work

Call waiting on X100P
I have Asterisk setup in a SOHO environment.
I have 2 X100P cards at Zap/1 and Zap/2.
I have 1 TDM400P card with Zap/3 - Zap/5.
I have subscribed to callwaiting, callerid and calleridcallwaiting from
Qwest on the 2 PSTN lines - Zap/1 and Zap/2.
My problem is when I'm in an active call to the outside thru Zap/1 or
Zap/2, I can't pickup the incoming callwaiting call. I can see the

Manager interface, again
Ok,
is it me or do some of the commands just not work properly? I asked for mailboxstatus
and got:
Response: Success
Message: Mailbox Status
Mailbox: 1000
Waiting: 0
which is all well and good, except of course I have 2 messages waiting... which kinda means
it only works, if you have 0 messages... (using voicemail not voicemail2)

Digital Line Distortion
Firstly, the problem...
Ever since I installed and setup asterisk, I have had various problems,
initially it was echo caused by the ISDN (isdn4linux) card I was using.
So, I upgraded to the X101P from digium. I still had echo, so I figured
it was also caused by the ATA186 (cisco) I was using. So, I upgraded
again to the TDM40B quad FXS card. This solved pretty much all my
problems, except

problems with analog interface to PBX
Folks,
For the last few days I've been trying to experiment with a Panasonic PBX and an X100P but have run into quite a few problems which I am not sure if they can be solved with this type of card (how about TDM01B?)
1) I wanted to use *'s IVR capabilities, so I routed the calls to the extension where the x100p was connected to.
Asterisk should answer the call, playback a message,

x100p & Asterisk 1.4.17 and Zaptel 1.4.7
I am finding that with the combination above, the zap channel will hang
up, though the call has hung up.
I am make all changes in my zapata.conf file that I can find on the
internet with nothing fixing this issue.
I have added
busydetect=yes, busycount=6, and made sure that the signalling is set
for fxs_ks
these setting worked fine with zaptel 1.2 but not with the newest zaptel
drivers.

IAX2 dropping call?
Hello all,
I updated from CVS 3 days ago and now my IAX2 gateway is dropping
calls without warning.
It happens right in the middle of a conversation with no pattern. I
never had this
Problem before and am usually talking 2-3 hours a day.
Is their a bug? Should I rollback?
Cheers,
Paul Seniuk

TDM11B Hang up detection not working in France ?
Hello,
my config : aah 2.6 (asterisk 1.2.4) , centos 4.2, 1 TDM11B (1 Fxo / 1
fxs ), 1 phone, 1 softphone
I'm in France
When someone from PSTN calls and hangs up before the call is answered,
internal extension keeps ringing until timeout occurs. PSTN line keeps
busy. Hangup detection doesn't work.
I've played with different paremeters (callprogress, busydetect,
busycount,
