Hi, Try as I might, I can't get hangups detected on a Zap channel with loop start lines. So, after someone leaves a voicemail and then hangs up, Asterisk doesn't know it, exits VoicemailMain2, and loops back to the corporate greeting, tying up the line even though the outside caller has hung up. I figured out what was going on with the lack of/stuck on stuttered dial tone. Apparently, there are two voicemail directories being referenced: /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default, and /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/local. The sip phones were using /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/local to dump VM messages into, yet the MWI looks at /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default. Does anyone know why

I've noticed something strange when saving a new message to the new messages folder. The message number gets incremented (message0000 becomes message0001), then voicemailmain2 thinks that there are no new messages to be played, but the MWI stays on, and the end user tries in vain to retrieve a message that can't be played.

There was a post in the 'wiki' for an application to provide an outcall when there is a voicemail is left on asterisk. I am having a problem that this application will only work if the caller presses the pound sign at the end of recording. As most people just hang up, this application isn't working. Can any offer suggestions to accomplish this out call?

I'm running the a very recent CVS version of asterisk on an RH9 machine. My problem is that my x100p takes about 10 seconds to detect a hangup. After that it takes about 10 more seconds for the the zaptel device to release the line. Hello all, I am running Asterisk-1.4.5 on my Debian GNU/Linux Etch here and I want to send the voicemails as attachment to e-mails and delete the voicemails from my PBX once it has been sent. But, I don't have a running MTA here even on the PBX itself. I just want to send the e-mails to my GMail account from my PBX. Howdy All, I''ve a bit of a strange problem here. I have a filesystem with one snapshot that simply refuses to be destroyed. The snapshots just prior to it and just after it were destroyed without problem. While running the zfs destroy command on this particular snapshot, the server becomes more-or-less hung. hi all it seems like whatever I do, I can't use more than 1 BRI on my AVM C2 with chan_capi. Both channels seem to work, but not at the same time.
