Problem with integrating ISDN PBX using NT mode
Hi,
I'm just in the process of replacing a crappy Siemens PBX with a new and
shiny Asterisk system. To connect Legacy equipment I hooked up a small
ISDN PBX (DeTeWe OpenCom 36) to one port on a Junghanns.net quadBRI
card. That port is configured for NT Point to Multipoint
(Mehrgeraeteanschluss) mode. Now I can place calls from the ISDN PBX to
the other Asterisk extensions but the other way

Using Asterisk to connect 2 locations with legacy PBX
Hello.
I am going through the documentation and trying to find if asterisk can help me in my case. It is quite difficult to find answer because I do not know the exact question.
I have two location. Each in different country. Both locations have Siemens HiPath - different type and software. I can not use card that would allow me to connect those PBXs using SIP. But I have some free ISDN and

Asterisk & Fritz & Capi & isdn PBX integration : Can I dial out on any MSN I declare ?
Hi,
I'm integrating Asterisk to legacy PBX via ISDN router. If I want to call
legacy PBX internal extension I need to specify MSN as caller id and local
number to call.
I wonder if I can cal out via Fritz & CAPI on any msn I want, or are there
any limitations - I've read something about 5 MSNs limitation and wonder if
it still holds ?
Thanks in advance,
regards,
Rob.

ISDN CAPI and anonymous callers
Hello,
I am trying to use * to handle anonymous ISDN callers.
Something like
exten => 5150/0,1,Congestion
should work but doesn't. Apparently because the ISDN CAPI doesn't
use 0 for callers who don't send their number.
Is there a way to make * identify ISDN callers who use CLIR?

Implementing a ISDN home PBX
Hi,
I would like to implement a inexpensive home PBX with Asterisk. I have
an internal ISDN bus with 6 ISDN phones. I now thought, I connect a
Fritz card to my Mehrgerateanschluss (Point-to-Multipoint) supplied by
my provider and a second Fritz card to the internal bus. Will this work?
Thanks for the help,

ISDN (isdn4linux) DDI
Hello all,
does anybody have experiences with DDI on ISDN BRI? I would like to
order DDI with 10 or 100 numbers from telco company, and use DDI
numbers for direct calling SIP/H323 clients. But I don't know if
Asterisk supports it, in archive I found only one answer about it, and
I'm not sure. I am going to use it with isdn4linux card.
Maybe DDI is called differently in other countries,

second connected PBX not showing Caller ID
Hello,
We have two asterisk PBXs connected.
PBX 1 has SIP trunks connected to our provider. PBX 2 is a remote PBX and
SIP Trunk connected to PBX 1.
We are able to dial extensions either way and PBX 2 is able to dial out
using PBX 1 SIP trunks connected to our provider.
We would like to use a separated Caller-ID for PBX 2 and cannot figure out
how to do this.
Any suggestions

Questions about chan_dahdi, PRI, MWI (and Q.SIG)
Hello everyone,
My setup:
Debian squeeze
Asterisk 1.8, DAHDI, libpri, compiled from source
TE110P, attached to a Deutsche Telekom Octopus E Modell 300/800
I'm trying to get MWI for Voicemail working. In the same server I have
also got an Eicon DIVA PRI card for testing purposes (it is integrated
via CAPI and the chan-capi channel driver into my Asterisk). MWI works
just fine there.

* -> Lucent PBX
The Wiki mentions Lucent PBXs but really only the large ones.
I've got to get a small 4 x ISDN in with 4 proprietary ISDN out plus 4
analog out connected up to an * to give VoIP capability.
I have no docs at all. Looking at the front plate it has 3 incoming
connections 2 in use marked T0 and one unused S0. I have an HFC card and
wonder if I can use bri-stuff to make use of the S0.

ISDN PBX + IVR + Voicemail Configuration - Sanity Check ...
Hi All,
First of all, please no flames about the footer of this message. It's being
inserted into all outgoing email by the server here without asking me
personally first once I send out email. Since I've been very interested in
setting up an Asterisk PBX + IVR + Voicemail system to support a small
business and a foundation for quite some time now, in order to replace their
current ISDN

ISDN Dialout
Hi,
I am having some trouble with ISDN Dialout. Using a Netjet-s PCI Card.
When in Minicom, the only way I can dialout is if i issue ATS18=1 First.
Otherwise I get a BUSY message. So thats fine.
But when I dialout from asterisk, I get an immediate hangup, so my guess is
that asterisk is not issuing ATS18=1 to the ttyI device.
Here are my configs, any input would be greatly appriciated.

chan_capi-cm, Euro ISDN bus: 2 extensions on same BRI port not working
Hello,
I am using a system with an AVM ISDN PCI card (fcpci) and asterisk with
chan_capi-cm-0.6. The hardware is connected to a Siemens Hipath 3550 PBX. As
a BRI connection has 2 channels and allows 2 simultaneous calls,
numbers/MSNs 6391 and 6392 were for provisioned for each channel. The system
is working (partly, read on), the trick is the correct cable wiring and
setup the PBX's port

Software only Asterisk PBX (commercial)
Are there any switchvox/fonality type Asterisk based PBXs where I can
buy just the software? I don't want to buy their 'bundles' that come
with junky PC hardware. I just want their software/GUI to run on my
hardware.
Does Asterisk BE come with a GUI management console for managing
phones, queues, VM and the like?

Multi-Tenant PBX with Asterisk
Hi
I came across couple of pointers on the Internet regarding solutions
available for providing hosted PBX service.
1. Multiple PBXs: Using separate hardware to host each PBX. Pretty
straightforward, but no hosting company wants to use it.
2. Multi-tenant PBX: Configuring multiple PBXs within the same instance of
Asterisk. I.e. partitioning a single instance of Asterisk into multiple
PBXs by way

How to use the "profiles" - command ?
One problem when migrating from an NT-PDC to a 3.0.4SAMBA-PDC, the user ABC
has different SID's. So I want to change the SID of user ABC on the
SAMBA-PDC with the profiles-command.
Suggest:
User ABC in Domain NT has SID S-1-5-21-1234
User ABC in Domain LINUX has SID S-1-5-21-9876
So, on the Samba-Server I did:
Profiles -c S-1-5-21-9876 -n S-1-5-21-1234
I get the error message:
