Ang: Re: Dutch (DTMF) caller-ID
Hi all! I am in the same situation here in Sweden, but I just got the X100 card and don t get it to work with DTMF caller ID. Is the only way to solve this to buy a TDM400 card w FXO modules? Is it just a driver question or a HW issue with the X100 card? Where to find dok about the new keywords in conf files like "cidstart=polarity" in zapata.conf? rgds Gunnar >>>

Multi-homed interface name resolution
Hi, (I think I posted this a few weeks ago, but I haven't found the solution and had no replies.) I have a multi-homed server, one interface of which is on the same subnet as the majority of clients and the other is on a different one (but still reachable, through a router). When connecting to the server, it seems to be chance which one of these interfaces I get. I believe DNS servers

FWD-gateway prefix
Hey all, As there seem to be some problems with DTMF-signalling between chan_sip and several clients, due to which many could not properly dial a number at the dial-tone of the XS4ALL-gateway at FWD-number "42442", I've now arranged for a prefix on FWD for this gateway.

GSSAPI Key Exchange on multi-homed host
>From a security standpoint, if the default keytab (/etc/krb5.keytab) contains only ONE principal, does it matter if GSSAPIStrictAcceptorCheck is set to "yes" or "no"? My company uses an internally built OpenSSH package that includes the GSSAPI Key Exchange patch. Because we have 1000s of hosts, we need to use a "standard" sshd_config file that works for the

asterisk running @ 100% load doing nothing
Hi guys, I just ran into a funny issue here. I'm trying to virtualize our asterisk pbx onto vmware esxi. Here's a quick glance of the system: * Ubuntu 9.10 i386 with linux-rt kernel (to get 1000Hz timer) everything up2date. * Asterisk 1.6.2.6 If I run asterisk using the debian init script in contrib/init.d/, top shows asterisk is using 99.x% CPU doing nothing. If I run asterisk with

Asterisk Help
Asterisk Users, I am running Asterisk 1.2.13 on Debian Etch with McLeodUSA's T1 service. I have two Netgear switches on my T1 router, one for VOIP and another for data. I use a gigabit switch for all VOIP and a regular 10/100Mbps switch for all data. This morning I saw this message a few times on the Asterisk command line. The lagged cause garbled phone calls. Is my network to

I can't call my remote users?
Good day to all-- First off let me say that I have been very pleased with the mailing list. I have learned a ton of stuff just reading other peoples questions and comments. I really enjoyed the VOIP Conference call on Friday morning. Still working on figuring out the best approach to custom voicemail emails (the reason I joined this group); however, we have more pressing issues. I

No audio in Messenger
Yo, I'm trying to get Asterisk working with Messenger 4.7. After skimming through the list-archives, I've got it to register to my Asterisk-box and can make calls. Unfortunately, there's no audio from the Messenger- side of the call to the other caller. I can hear the caller in Messenger, though. It doesn't appear to be a Messenger or network-problem, as I can talk to FWD from

Problems with res_odbc
Good morning, I'm having suddenly cut-offs and I don`t know why. It's been hapenning since I enabled cdr_odbc/func_odbc in my system. We use func_odbc to register some queue member's events (login, pause, etc.) at an external DB ('remoto' connector) and to uptade local tables at a local DB ('local' connector). Currently we are usind cdr_odbc to Postgresql and cdr_addon
