Gastman
I've tried the precompiled version of gastman, but it does'n work properly under windows, so I would like to try to compile it under windows, so maybe it begins to work. I've tried to compile gastman with mingw, but the db3.1 libraries request the cygwin include files and libraries. Then I've copied the cygwin's include files and libraries to mingw's directory, but the make

Gastman compile errors
I seem to be encountering a problem with the db.h file when compiling gastman. Incorrect definitions for functions and so on. Here are the errors: If I don't copy the db.h from asterisk source to the include directory of gastman I get: gui.c:31:16: db.h: No such file or directory If I do then I get: gui.c:743: too many arguments to function This is for the line: if (!(res =

gastman executable for Win32?
Does anyone have a recent build of gastman for Win32 that they would be willing to post or email? (I can host it if you want to share.) The newest version I can find is here: ftp://ftp.digium.com/pub/gastman/ It's a year old, and crashes (Illegal Instruction) on most events. Does anyone have something newer? I tried building from source under cygwin, and got far enough to compile a few

I can't get iaxComm to connect to guest@misery.digium.com
On advice from others I dropped gnophone in favor of iaxComm. I am operating on an IBM T30 laptop Redhat Linux 2.4.20-8 with an Intel i810 audio chipset (comes in the laptop). I am using the Gnome desktop. There is no reference to alsa or oss to be found. All audio components function fine. Nothing else is running and I have an active broadband internet connection. I can ping www.digium.com

Manager/gastman
[This is being re-sent because the previous one got caught in the 'moderators' mailbox. It would seem that the moderator never approves those emails though? It would be nice if that would happen.] [Original Message] Tonight I thought I might start hacking on gastman to extend the features in the directions that I would like. Except then I got stuck, because some information is not

Need info on Gastman/Astman
Has anyone used Gastman/Astman successfully? I have it up and running (Gastman win32), but have a problem with the creation of end stations on the map. I'm not sure of the format of the extension to use when creating a end station icon. Services like Conference bridge and Musichonhold seem to work ok (I use 555@mainmenu and 666@mainmenu) for the Icon extensions. IAX softphone seems to work

New gastman clone + what else?
I have hired someone to do some work on asterisk for me over the next couple of months, before they start, I would like to get a better idea of what other people need, which I can then dovetail into what I think my own 'requirements' are... Initially, a largish area that I think needs to be worked on is some sort of gastman type interface which will run on MS Windows, and be usable for a

Gastman and SIP?
I have been testing Gastman and Astman with SIP calls. As I have no Zap phones, so I have a few question on what is normal behavior? When a call comes in and I have created extensions for all phones (example: Channel = "SIP\3846") Should the little lines connect between the pre-made extension or should they pop up temporary icons with no connection to the hand made extensions? Gastman crashes on Win32
Hi, The Win32 binary of Gastman crashes on Windows 2000 SP4. Same case on all my machines, no error, no log. Although, the CVS version works great on Linux. Is it anybody who knows how to compile it with mingw32 ? Or better, could anyone, who already has mingw32 installed, make a binary snapshot ? Thanks in advance, Jean-Christophe -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

gastman manual?
hi I'm running SIP (msn messenger), MGCP (dlink hardphone), H.323 (soon - netvision 802.11 phone) and CAPI (AVM C2). Can I plot in the known extensions and use gastman to tranfer calls? I've tried, but no calls was visualized from the extensions I created ... and - no - I couldn't find it after RTFM roy -- Roy Sigurd Karlsbakk, Datavaktmester ProntoTV AS - http://www.pronto.tv/

Wrap-up
Is it possible to specify a 'wrap-up' time in a queue so agents will have a specified amount of time to complete tasks between calls unless they hit a key on the phone? As it is they can recieve a call moments after they hang up with no 'down time'. Thanks Jim Friedeck

Enhanced queue app
To all who need more queue functionality, We are contracting Digium to enhance the queue app for our call center needs. Please read the following email conversation and give your ideas. Unless a glaring omission is found in my specification we will have them start tomorrow (Wednesday). I may not have thought of something important. It will be released to all Asterisk users by Digium. Thanks for

segfaults with queue
Just cvs'ed about 40 minutes ago (10:15 CST 8-8-03). Segfaults when I use a queue app in many different scenarios. When calling phone is only member of queue I get a segfault. When 1st called extension is outside line I get a segfault. Many other scenarios as well. Unsure how to go about troubleshooting. Any ideas? Jim Friedeck
