Re: [2] X100p problem
When I enable callprogress I get this error message... (when I call, it will ring forever but asterisk is acting as if it DID pick up the line ... but it never did... ) I'm beginning to think that asterisk can't hangup the line when in voice mail and this, whatever action I'll take... Actually, callprogress doesn't seem to work at all... (in my case) Mar 24 23:37:28

busydetect=yes, busycount=5: hangup automtically without reason, why?
Hi All; Why busydetect=yes caused this autmatic hangup happens without any reson (while responding to entering the digits in the IVR) I do not know! And what is the solution I do not know. I used busydetect=yes and busycount=5 in zapata.conf to help me in hangup when detect the busy tone, but I faced the following problem: While I am calling to the Asterisk PBX, and during the response for the

Latest batch of CVS changes
I now get:- /usr/src/asterisk/dsp.c:1395: undefined reference to `ast_dsp_busydetect' The Make file changes modify BUSYDETECT but if you have BUSYDETECT+= -DBUSYDETECT_COMPARE_TONE_AND_SILENCE the above error is shown. Renabling BUSYDETECT+= -DBUSYDETECT_MARTIN corrects the problem. -- Dave Cotton <dcotton@linuxautrement.com>

X100P and NTL (ex Cable + Wireless)
Firstly, let me just say I am new to asterisk and if anything I've said is covered in an FAQ or in previous posts I apologise but I have tried searching and I've attempted a few of the things I found but they didn't help. Has anybody got any experience using an X100P on an NTL phone line in the UK (I'm in an ex Cable & Wireless area if that makes any difference). The

busydetect and X100P hangups
FYI to anyone else who may be experiencing random hangups; I removed the busydetect=yes lines from the conf files on my asterisk servers, and haven't had a hangup since. I had done that once before and it didn't seem to have much of an effect, so I'm not breaking out the champagne yet. But so far over dozens of calls both made and received since I took that line out, I

X100P - Busydetect / calls being disconnected - Australia; tip.
Hi All, This isn't really a question, but it's an issue I experienced that was driving me crazy for a few days, so I thought it might be good for the archives. Basically what was happening was everytime a particular customer called (long distance), the line would disconnect immediately after answering. I thought it might have been the phone, so I swapped the phone with another - still

problems with analog interface to PBX
Folks, For the last few days I've been trying to experiment with a Panasonic PBX and an X100P but have run into quite a few problems which I am not sure if they can be solved with this type of card (how about TDM01B?) 1) I wanted to use *'s IVR capabilities, so I routed the calls to the extension where the x100p was connected to. Asterisk should answer the call, playback a message,

busydetect and random hangups
Hi, I'm having random hangup problems with zap channels. If I turn busydetect off in Zapata.conf, * fails completely to detect a user hangup in the middle of a script. On the other hand, if I turn it on, everything works much better, but long calls tend to be hung up without a motive. Any other parameter that I can try? Any #define that I can tweak and recompile? Will callprogress

busydetect=yes shows answered call on originating caller hangup
simple setup... two * boxen, X100P in each pots(1) --> ZAP/1 --> *(1) --> IAX2 --> *(2) --> ZAP/1 --> pots(2) with busydetect=yes and callprogress=yes in zapata.conf, calling from pots(1) through to pots(2) we get the following -- Zap/1-1 is ringing -- Zap/1-1 is ringing etc, and if nobody picks up, then it timeouts and hangups, good however, if during the ringing,

Problem with busydetect and cell phones
I have a very strange problem I'm hoping someone has encountered already. I've scoured the internet for an answer to this one. My phone company provides no disconnect supervision. Hence I'm forced to use the busydetect feature. I have a TDM400 with two FXO ports. If I call from an internal extension to a landline and then hangup the landline Asterisk detects the busy signal

Patch: Inbound-only busydetect
Hi there, I got really tired of false hangups, specially when someone calls from SIP/IAX/whatever to PSTN, which makes no sense in using busydetect in the zap channel, as the caller will eventually hear the busy tones and hangup, causing the zap channel to be "freed" as well... After suggesting that the busy detect be enabled only for inbound calls, and finding other people that think

Hangup Detection with busydetect
My telco doesn't provide Disconnect Supervision or Polarity Change. So I figured I have to detect hangups with busydetect=yes in zapata.conf. I tested it. When the telco sends a busy tone * detects it and hangsup. So far so good. The problem is the telco doesn't always send a busy after remote hangup. Most of the time it sends a congestion tone. I am guessing these tones from what I

False hangups with TDM400P and Kewlstart
Hello all! I have tried and tried to resolve this one to no avail. Hopefully one of you can help... The system in question is a Compaq Evo D600 (iirc) business desktop, with a 1.4GHz Pentium 4 and 512mb of RAM, running a stock install of PoundKey 1.2. It has two Digium cards installed: a TDM400P with four FXO modules, and a TE110P hooked to a Carrier Access Adit 600 which serves 8

busydetect
Hi, I'm struggling to get busydetect to work. I'm using asterisk 1.2.1 and a digium TDM04B (4 port FXO) card. I've set busydetect=yes, busycount=6 and busypattern=300,200 in zapata.conf and i've modified zondata.c with a busy setting of 620+480, 300/200 which is the busysignal received from Korea Telecom. Asterisk isn't detecting the busy signal and doesn't hangup.

TDM400P and AGGRESSIVE_SUPPRESSOR dropping calls
Hi, I had been using 4 X100P cards in my Asterisk box, but 2 of them were sharing an interrupt. Therefore, periodically I would hear beeps and clicks that I had assumed were a result of this. So, I ordered a TDM400P with 4 FXO modules and installed it in the box last night. Today, we've had nothing but problems with it dropping calls. I installed the latest CVS of everything, and we've

DialPlan help with Analog Fax Machine
I'm struggling to get my dialplan to work with a simple analog fax machine. I have TDM400B zaptel card with an FXO and FXS port. I have the FXO port connected to the POTS machine and the FAX machine connected to the FXS port. The FAX machine itself works fine, I can FAX outgoing messages fine. I can also dial the FAX extension from the internal context, the FAX machine answers and I

Busy Detection on Analog Lines
Hi, I'm having an issue with busy detection, the busy is not being detected. Asterisk: 1.6.2.13 DAHDI: 2.4.0 Chandahdi: busydetect=yes, busycount=2 Indications zone = us, with the modifications for my country for busy: 425Hz Pattern(0.2ms on, 0.2ms off, 0.2ms on, 0.6ms off) I compiled with BUSY DETECT DEBUG. I can see: [Feb 10 15:48:06] DEBUG[26968]: dsp.c:1276

Slow hangup - Australia - analog - incoming calls
I have had to install a TDM800 in a site, as the telco has held off installing ISDN indefinitely.. It's all fine except for the fact that it takes ages to hang up the line (6 or more rings), and sometimes doesn't even bother. This is only on incoming calls - outgoing calls work perfectly. Is there any good tricks for a fast and accurate hangup detect in this situation?
