Version naming to use in a RoR proyect
Hi everyone, I would need to know if RoR follow any policy for version naming; I mean, something like linux´s kernel does or similar. For instance, kernel uses numbers separated in groups by dots (i.e. pre 2.6 - AA.BB.CC). These groups mean differents fixtures, bugs fixed... I will start a big proyect from scratch with rails and I want to choose now a standart to use and avoid future problems

Help with migration
Hello to all, my name is Alejandro and I have a little question to anyone of this list. I?ve created ,6 years ago, an ldap+smb proyect for a big company. Back then, samba (Lenny server) only worked with NT hashes but now (Squeeze server) they want to authenticate with Win7 (ntlm2 protocols) And configurating windows7 to accept old NT hashes is not an exit. I want to update ONLY the smb package

[new?] Streaming technique
Hi, I have a newbie question, and a not-so-newbie one. I've just found out about Ogg, and I haven't been able to find a clear answer in the many webpages this proyect has (btw, why not create just one site instead of vorbis.com, ogg-vorbis.com...). The question is, does Ogg use perceptual coding, like mp3 does? And if so, would it be possible to build an encoder in such a way as to

MGCP behind NAT
Hi, After spending some time trying to get a DG-104S working behind NAT, I finally found the problem. I made the incorrect assumption that nat=yes in mgcp.conf works just like sip.conf. The channels within a gateway are treated more closely to zap channels than sip channels (from a .conf standpoint). What this means is that you have to put nat=yes BEFORE any subchannel definitions: This
