I've got nmbd and smbd so they're running now, not being blocked out by my firewall however nmbd is still unable to sync browse lists with my domain master browser, which i don't have as i'm in a workgroup and i'd like samba to be the master browser. Hello, Whenever I reatart samba on my bsd or my linux machines windows 98 network neighborhood looses either machine, I've got samba set up as a wins server, and the 98 machine pointing to it, but this doesn't help. The situation: Incoming works fine on all phones. Outgoing only works from non-Cisco phones. When someone calls in on a zap channel with FXO and presses an extension, and another user picks up using (*8) I changed it to 888, after a few minutes ( I think 2), the call gets dissconected. I wouldn't expect you to be using RFC3389 if your using A-law, can you include your IOS version and IOS config file ... I have not specified any allow's or disallow's in my * config for the codecs with my 5300, I also use Cisco 79xx phones and I use the option within the phones config file to select the preffered codec and when I change this to G.729/A-law/U-law all works perfectly
