X100P bad sound after period of time
Hi folks. I am using a X100P card and after some random amount of time
of correct operation, say 8-20 hours, the card starts acting up and
producng horrid sound quality which is all broken up. All other channels
appear to work fine.
One thing I noticed, is that "zap show channel 1" always shows the
"Actual Hookstate: Offhook" as soon as the telco line is plugged in. Is

Monitor Zap Status - Full E-mail...
I've installed Grandstream GPX-2000 phones and have successfully enabled
one of my buttons to use Asterisk BLF for an extension. I can tell when
this extension is available, is being rung, or is on the line.
I'd like to do the same for my Zaptel channels, to be able to see when a
line is onhook, ringing or offhook.
I tried the following but alas, it doesn't seem to be working:

Snom100 GSM
Hi, there were some postings a few weeks ago telling that the GSM codec problem with snom100 will be fixed. But it still seems to be very quality.
Will be any change in this subject?

Zap callwaiting hookflash idiosyncracy/flaw?
Don't know what else to call this. Googling and some time on the IRC
channel haven't gotten me anywhere.
Here's the sitch, which is a bit complicated but is something my
customers are in fact encountering on an everyday basis:
1. Bob is on a Zap channel talking through the PSTN to Carol. Both have
the misfortune, like so many of us, of having LECs who do not offer

One more about Error in step() (or stepAIC) for Cox model
Thank you for Prof.Ripley's suggestion. I fixed the program by adding a
lower scope, and the program ran, but I still got warning messages, and
don't know what is going on, would this affect my results?

Zap and call pickup -- it don't work.
The problem: T100P connected to an Adit600. Channel 1-16 are FXS, 17-24
FXO. I have Zap/24 in callgroup 3 and Zap/1-16 in pickupgroup 3. When a
call comes in on Zap/24 I cannot pick it up with *8 from Zap/1-16.

Fixing filenames with directories with spaces in the names
Should be simple and perhaps I'm tired but it's not coming to me.
In its simplest form...
for old in `cat "$FILENAME"`;do
echo "$old"
dirname "$old"
new="$(echo $old | sed 's/\*/\-/')"
done
I'm trying to take out some stupid Macintosh things - in this case
filenames with asterisks but I have others like tilde's and probably

TDM OnHook/OffHook
My TDM400P w/ 4 FXO cards seems to have trouble with onhook/offhook
switching. It dials perfectly, but does not seem to be changing the
onhook/offhook state appropriately. It changes sometimes, but it's not
really reliable. For example:
When I booted the machine, it started as onhook. It remained "onhook"
through the entire first call (which was silent on both ends --

X100P outbound only (Don't answer)
I tried implementing my * and it didn't pass the spouse factor at this
time. I wanted to hook it up for outbound only at this point to get a
better handle on the dial plans and the echo problem.
I thought this might have been done before as a natural part of testing
- but maybe not.
In wcfxo.c I found this:

Question about sm.options & sm.survival
Hi, there:
It's my first time to post question in this forum, so thanks for your
tolerance if my question is too naive. I am using a nonparametric smoothing
procedure in sm package to generate smoothed survival curves for continuous
covariate. I want to truncate the suvival curve and only display the part
with covariate value between 0 and 7. The following is the code I wrote:

Need help optimizing/vectorizing nested loops
Hi,
I'm analyzing a large number of large simulation datasets, and I've
isolated one of the bottlenecks. Any help in speeding it up would be
appreciated.

columns are the spatial coordinates of the samples, the remaining 20
columns are the abundances of species in each cell. I need to calculate

Error in step() (or stepAIC) for Cox model
Hello all,
I am trying to use stepwise procedure to select covariates in Cox model
and use bootstrap to repeat stepwise selection, then record how many
times variables are chosen by step() in bootstrap replications. When I
use step() (or stepAIC) to do model selection, I got errors. Here is the
part of my code

I am getting an error message for the print() and summary() commands

the example from the lme help, summary and print produce the following

FLAG_BOOLEAN_ANY_CASE does not work
I have found that lower cased boolean operators such as "and" or "or"
does not work. Of course I never forget setting FLAG_BOOLEAN_ANY_CASE flag.
QP seems to treat them as terms.
Just look at the following tests regardless of search results!
