chan_capi and hanging channels
hi
using chan_capi, I get _lots_ of hanging channels after a while. This was
first beleived to be SIP related, but I doubt it. below, 'roy' is on MGCP,
and 'fax' is just a bridged dial if someone dials in, it's re-routed to
another external number

Syntax for 2 ISDN Cards
Hi there,
I searched in mailinglist and in web, but no answer to my problem...
Only this post with no answers:
http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2004-March/038994.html
I'm using CVS Asterisk (05/17/04) with chan_capi 0.3.1. (multiple
controller support). In my Asterisk-box there are 2 Fritzcards
(module for second card compiled with changes on sourcecode found in
the web).

Syslinux Digest, Vol 116, Issue 20
Hi!
We use Windows tftp-servers (so I dont think switching now would be an alternative). But I can try to suggest it.
More specific, vendor id of the mac address, is what I want to be able to "choose" (if match) which bootmenu to display.
Like all broadcom NICs we have would boot the undionly.kpxe "menu!! (I am having some trouble with broadcom (PCI fiber) and iPXE :)

MSN selection when dialout ISDN (ttyI* modem -interface, NOT CAPI)
Hello!
How can one select outgoing MSN when dialing out from ttyI-interfaces?
I have successfully done this with CAPI e.g...
exten => _XXXXX.,2,Dial,CAPI/60:bBYEXTENSION
...in extensions.conf.
Currently correponding for my ISDN modem interface is...
exten => _XXXXX.,2,Dial(Modem/g1:${EXTEN})
...but this selects only MSN of outgoing group g1 for dialout MSN number.
I also tried to

Problem with Capi Channel
Hi all,
I have installed a test machine with asterisk in order to try it. I have a

How to use ZapHFC ?
I tried to setup an PBX System with the following parties:
1. SIP Phones
2. One AVM ISDN Card with CHAN_CAPI for Outbound dialing and receiving
external calls
3. One HFC-S PCI Card in NT-Mode with ZapHfc for physical ISDN Phones.
1+2 work perfect
I have problems with part 3
Card is working, drivers loading fine, asterisk initializes chan_zap without
problems. Demo did work.
My problem is

Fallback to second menu entry, ONERROR looping Syslinux Digest, Vol 174, Issue 3
Hi!
I think thats the whole point with ONERROR.
We use it in PXELINUX with a reload label.
So we can reload pxelinux (ONERROR) if someone types something wrong ?intall? instead of ?install?.

chan_capi patch: app_capiFax modifications
Hi,
Since Carl has kindly provided us with fax support for CAPI based
cards, we have been using it with much success. Today I have modified
app_capiFax so that it now supports a dynamic CSID. The following
example uses the DNID created by chan_capi on an AVM Fritz! card.
* Receive a fax with CAPI API.
* Usage : capiAnswerFax2(path_output_file.SFF|stationID)

Fallback to second menu entry, ONERROR looping forever
Hello
I want to fallback to a second boot entry, if the kernel is missing for
the first entry.
So I through I could use ONERROR, but syslinux just continue to try
starting the first entry.
Am I doing something wrong? or can't this be done with syslinux?

uint decode error on visual studio...
Is this a common warning? The decoder doesn't return an error on it, but I
see it a lot in my test application on windows. It is non existent on my
linux box. I haven't tried mingw yet.
please note that I'm using visual studio 2008 w/the vcproj that Bjoern
Rasmussen made for 0.5.2 (w/some file references removed) at the moment and
it is giving a lot of C4554 warnings

ISDN Dialout
Hi,
I am having some trouble with ISDN Dialout. Using a Netjet-s PCI Card.
When in Minicom, the only way I can dialout is if i issue ATS18=1 First.
Otherwise I get a BUSY message. So thats fine.
But when I dialout from asterisk, I get an immediate hangup, so my guess is
that asterisk is not issuing ATS18=1 to the ttyI device.
Here are my configs, any input would be greatly appriciated.

--enable-static-modes
I did a download of 0.7.1 sources and saw that fmod was compiling with
--enable-static-modes, I decided to try it, but it fails to compile
static_modes.c because it doesn't exist. Is that an external dependency?

question about CELT_SET_COMPLEXITY_REQUEST
looking at the code for celt_encoder_ctl in 0.7.1 I'm confused as to why
Complexity is described as a value from 0-10, but the code only appears to
have one setting for 0-2 and another setting for 3-10. Is that for future
use or am I missing something?
