using broadvoice and vonage hardware with Asterisk
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Greetings, I've just about got Asterisk up and running and am wondering the following. Currently, I subscribe to both Vonage and Broadvoice and as such, I've got a Sipura and Cisco ATA186. Although I'm sure this is expressly prohibited somewhere in my service agreements, can I reprogram these devices to access my own asterisk server rather than

Vonage integration... Hardware or Softphone type acct.
Hi All, I've got an * PBX up with couple of stations and now I'd like to integrate my Vonage service for outgoing PSTN calls. Is this possible if I have an account with them that uses their hardware box (ATA186) or do I need a 'softphone' account? thanks...

Vonage and Asterisk integration
All, I have been thru the archives and all the relevant URL's sent to me. I have sent e-mail to those who have gone before me and are attempting to accomplish the same goal - no one has it working?. Doesn't anyone have a WORKING asterisk pbx that hooks into vonage? Thanks, Jerry Roy 562-305-9545 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Vonage and * (and what about those ATAs?)
Will Vonage unlock your ATA for you for the $15? Or someone else? I have an ATA from them I would like to use with asterisk as well. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-admin@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-admin@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Jay Milk Sent: Thursday, April 29, 2004 8:16 PM To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com Subject: [Asterisk-Users] Vonage and * (and what

Vonage sending Motorola gear now?
I got a call from an ISP friend tonight who said he is getting calls from people who are getting signed up with Vonage. Instead of sending them ATA186s, apparently they're receiving something made by Motorola. They apparently work significantly differently than the Cisco units, and there have been some problems. Anybody know anything further? Thx. B.

BudgeTone NAT issues
Just for the record and to possibly help with others who get BudgeTone phones. My asterisk box is behind NAT, and I use Vonage, NuFone, and iconnecthere for my "POTS backhaul." On the front end I have an ATA186, a Digium TDM20, and now a BudgeTone 102. The BudgeTone definitely has issues wrt the RTP stream and NATting, although unfortunately I haven't yet been able to dig

vonage.ca * integration possible?
I just got setup with vonage.ca with the motorola ata unit.. I fired up ethreal and checked out what's flying over the network... The sniff below would lead me to believe that it might be possible to have asterisk spoof the User-Agent field and register itself? Any thoughts/feedback? Changes to reset method for ATA186?
I am trying to do a "factory reset" of an ATA186 using the widely-available instructions (basically dialing "FACTRESET#" on the keypad while at the menu prompt). I have done this a number of times before with success, but on this unit the lady spells out "P A S S W D" when I finish up the entry. Does anyone know what to do next? Hitting the star key (which is

Vonage Linksys Router - Life after Vonage
I setup a vonage account last year, and cancelled it last night when I put my asterisk box together and signed up for a Broadvoice account to use with it. Now I would like to use my Linksys router as an MTA, but realize it is still programmed with all of vonage's proprietary information and I do not know how to clear it. I understand that just pushing the reset button will not do it.

Multiple X100Ps -- order?
After over a month (well, ok, no more than an hour a day :) of planning, getting hardware, tinkering and testing, I'm about to my Ultimate Home Phone System (tm) online. Connectivity to the outside world is provided by: A. 1 POTS phone line connected through an X100P ($11/month, needed to carry DSL) B. 1 Vonage ATA186 connected through an X100P (needed for the rate center :( ) C. 3 Broadvoice

Asterisk and Vonage - Can't call out but can receive calls
Hi, I'm trying to get Asterisk to connect to Vonage (softphone acct) to allow me to place and receive calls. I have successfully configured Asterisk to route inbound calls and send them to the correct extension, but I can't get outbound calls to work. I have Asterisk successfully registering with Vonage, but when an INVITE is sent out, I get a "404 Not Found" back from Vonage

I just installed Asterisk on my server and I have Vonage softphone. I need my Asterisk server to receive calls through the Vonage Softphone DID and make outgoing calls through the Vonage ATA using an X100p to connect to it. Asterisk with Vonage
I know Vonage doesn't officially have a "bring your own device" type program, but they do offer a softphone. Has anyone gotten Asterisk to connect directly to Vonage? This would be a great help!! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Vonage to IAX DID to IVR => Poor DTMF
I have an IVR application that works fine from multiple DID sources, unless the call to that DID was from a Vonage service user. In this case about half the DTMF tones never get recognized by Asterisk. Has anyone else seen this? Suggestions? I'm running 1.0.9.

Transfer to Fax - 123 - Vonage
Okay, my last post for the night. So, after tweaking my iptables rules I placed a test call from my * -> Vonage softphone account, to my Vonage main account (which uses the Motorola device). Once connected I tried punching a few DTMF's to check the quality and found I had been transferred to a fax machine. ???? Did I find a secret entrance to some fax machine at Vonage, or

Vonage SIP access via asterisk?
Does anyone have a working connection to Vonage via asterisk? (SIP, not ATA) I just signed up to test their service and they sent me a Number, Proxy, port and password. Every reference I have tried leaves me with a 404 error coming from Vonage. If you have a working setup, please post some config references. ?
