Asterisk 1.4 and chan_misdn
Hi list, I installed a fresh Debian/Etch with Asterisk 1.4 and Zaptel 1.4 from SVN for 2 Digium B410P card. I ran configure in Asterisk dir, went in zaptel dir and: make, make install, make b410p. Everything is ok. Now I want to compile Asterisk but can't activate the chan_misdn channel which depends on -from menuselect- isdnnet(E), misdn(E), suppserv(E) When I made the make b410p, all

Zaptel - make b410p fails on Ubuntu 6.10
Hi, I've been able to make make install the Zaptel drivers (1.2). I'm using a b410p so I executed the following command make b410p. I tried this on multiple machines, but it always failes: root@asterisk:/usr/src/zaptel-1.2.11# make b410p [ -f misdn-b410p.tar.bz ] || wget ftp://ftp.digium.com/pub/zaptel/b410p/misdn-b410p.tar.gz --23:59:54--

OT - mISDN and B410P questions
Hello, I'm evaluating to possibility to use chan_misdn as a short term workaround, in case latest Dahdi is not stable enough for what we are planning to do (we wish to use Junghanns and Digium BRI hardware with Asterisk 1.6) . I've read www.mISDN.org but still have a couple of questions : 1. Is correct that in a 2.6.27 (and up) enabled kernel, the "embedded" mISDN version is

chan_mISDN module does not load
Hi, I have a Digium B410P 4-port BRI card. I installed misdn 1.1.3 with hfcmulti driver and misdnuser 1.1.3. I configured the card "correctly" as misdnportinfo reports: # misdnportinfo Port 1: TE-mode BRI S/T interface line (for phone lines) -> Interface is Poin-To-Point. -> Protocol: DSS1 (Euro ISDN) -> childcnt: 2 -------- Port 2: TE-mode BRI S/T interface line (for

echo over digital line
Hi, I'm using a 4-port BRI card (b410p) to make and receive calls (via chan_misdn): http://www.digium.com/en/products/digital/b410p.php This card supposedly has hardware echo cancellation. How can I check that echo cancellation is actually ON (taps, etc) on a given misdn channel (like with the "zap show channel X" command). "misdn show channel X" doesn't seem to show

Digium b410p + mISDN echo
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, We have a BRI installation who is experiencing constant echo with the Digium b410p and mISDN. I have adjusted gains, and originally thought that the desktop phones were at fault, although we experience the same problem when a call is bridged out to an external number. I've tried it with 128 taps (the default and I believe the supported

Fw: Re: mISDN BRI Asterisk 1.4
Have you got termination set correctly? I have a B410P working with 2 x NT and 2 x TE ports successfully. I had to turn the 100ohm termination on on the NT ports (even though I have them set as PTP in mISDN.conf). Ast 1.4 and B410p
I have used the b410p card with Asterisk 1.12 quite successfully. I now want to get the card to work with Asterisk 1.4.0beta3. It however can't seem to get chan_misdn compiled. In menuselect, chan_misdn has this: Depends on: isdnnet, misdn, suppserv Can anyone help? -- thanks, yusuf -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to

B410P and asterisk 1.6
Hi all, I'm trying to get a digium B410P to work with asterisk 1.6.0.1 (but i have the same problems with asterisk 1.6.0) Official digium documentation cover up to asterisk 1.4.x and suggest to use zaphfc... but as i understood zap is completely gone in 1.6 I tried with misdn (1.1.8, 1.1.7.2 and 1.1.5) and card is recognized correctly by the kernel but chan_misdn does not work as expected.

Asterisk 1.4 with Digium B410P - Timing problem
Hi list, we have a dual Xeon server with 2GB RAM running Debian Etch 2.6.18.4-686 kernel. The server has 2 B410P cards plugged in. No other card. We installed Asterisk 1.4 trunk with zaptel trunk, ran make b410p, the install mISDN1.1.0 (for bug 9064) configure and compile Asterisk with chan_misdn, all is fine. In misdn-init.conf we have added option=1,master_clock. Asterisk is up and

Digium B410P: misdn v1 or misdn v2 or dahdi + asterisk 1.6 ?
Hi, Until now I've been using my Digium B410P cards with misdn 1.0.x. I would like to upgrade my systems and am now wondering which is the "best" route to take: - use the latest release of misdn v1 - upgrade to the latest "stable" kernel and use the built-in misdn v2 - use misdn v2 as a seperate package (disable misdn in the kernel) - use dahdi's support for misdn

b410p and DTMF: dtmfthreshold in 1.2.18 zaptel drivers please?
I have the same problem as the following: http://threebit.net/mail-archive/asterisk-users/msg36602.html I am using a b410p (Wildcard) in TE mode on 4 channels of ISDN2e and it totally fails to detect incoming DTMF. The newer mISDN drivers have a parameter "dtmfthreshold" where you can tune the volume above which DTMF detection is initiated. However (I've tried it) the newest

Installing the b410p card, unable to install mISDN
Hi, I'm installing Asterisk on Ubuntu 6.10 When I first compiled the zaptel package I used: make clean make make install So far so good, but the following command failed: make b410p I did some digging on google and found a guide on how to install it manually, but the result was the same. I got these files ftp.digium.com/pub/telephony/zaptel/b410p/misdn-b410p.tar.gz

Hi all, Does anybody of you have the winbond w6692 working with the mISDN/chan_misdn.so? When loading chan_misdn.so from Asterisk, I get a "No lower Id port:1" error. Building and running mISDN for B410P on Ubuntu 7.04
Hi. Using Asterisk 1.4.13 running on Ubuntu 7.04 with Intel CPU: 1) Not being able to build mISDN on Ubuntu using "make b410p" I have used mISDN-1_1_7 which seems to work ok. QUESTION: Should I expect this version of mISDN to work ok with these cards? Or is there a way to build using "make b410P" on Ubuntu? (make force does not help at all) 2) In some of our installations

echotraining=yes in misdn.conf is invalid or out of range.
Hi. I'm having problems with chan_mISDN configuration. Line "echotraining=yes" causes warning, when Asterisk is parsing misdn.conf and I'm confused why the PBX doesn't accept the setting. No matter which section I try to offer it, it is always invalid or out of range. The setting itself is supposed to be valid, it is in the sample configuration file of chan_mISDN 0.3.1.
