This commit message was supposed to be:
- (djm) [configure.ac] Turn on -Wno-unused-result for gcc >= 4.4 to avoid
silly warnings on write() calls we don't care succeed or not.
I fixed the CVS log retrospectively

mindrot.org TMDA sending multiple auto-responder spams
Hi,
It is a shame I feel obliged to write this email.
I sent a single email with a possible bug in it, asking if it was
working in a newer release. I got 3 spam emails from mindrot.org. Two
asking me to confirm, and then when I was forced to confirm I got
another auto-responder spam. If I had wanted the 3rd spam I would have set
"return receipt".
I got this (below) auto-responder

anoncvs.mindrot.org
Hi,
Is anyone else having problems with anoncvs.mindrot.org? I do a cvs

days.
$ cvs up
Connection closed by 116.66.166.109
cvs [update aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)

It looks like ssh gets to the point of receiving SSH2_MSG_SERVICE_ACCEPT

EMails from mindrot.org blocked by web.de ?
Hello,
I can see my previous posting and Damiens reply but I never got his answer nor does it help to subscribe to the openssh-unix-dev at mindrot.org list. The subscription confirmation never appears in my inbox. Maybe you and the web.de admins can sort the problems out.
Thanks,
David

anoncvs.mindrot.org changes
Hi,
I have just converted anoncvs.mindrot.org from using GNU CVS to OpenCVS.
The latter is quite a bit nicer to run as an anoncvs server, and it
doesn't require write access to the repository like GNU CVS seems to.
The only visible change from this should be that checkouts of particular
tags or dates should now work (I didn't know they failed until today).

Your submission to the list has been forwarded to the list
owner <owner-mutt-users at mutt.org> for approval because you do not seem to be on
that list.
If you want to join the list, send email to <Majordomo at mutt.org>, with
"subscribe mutt-users" in the message text (not the subject).

SPAM and other junk posted to openssh-unix-dev@mindrot.org
You can read the list via <http://gmane.org/>, which does its own
Spamassassin and ClamAV filtering. But it looks like at the moment SA
there is having almost as many troubles as that filtering the list
itself.
It would be possible to write some new SA rules to catch the
'suspicious message' crap, and then send them to either the list owner
or the maintainer of Gmane.

Hi,
Rather than melting my mailserver by sending every Bugzilla change to
the ~700 member openssh-unix-dev mailing list, I have created a new
read-only openssh-bugs list to receive this Bugzilla messages.
If you would like to receive notifications of new or changed bugs,
please subscribe to that list. The reply-to address on the new list
