need some help with compiling mod_gnutls
Hi everybody,
I want to build mod_gnutls. The problem: CentOS' version of GNUTLS is too
old to link against, so I compiled and installed GNUTLS from source and put
it into /opt where it doesn't hurt the already installed GNUTLS. Now I have
trouble linking against this version as the autoconf buildchain in
mod_gnutls does not find the newer version.
I tried like this:
./configure

Sort imap e-mail remotely
Hi all,
I have a big e-mail box over at my provider. I receive a lot of e-mail
every day (over 100), which are distributed into different imap-folders
by thunderbird. The problem is that thunderbird must be running
(offcourse) to be able to it's job.
And for thunderbird to run, my (home)computer must be running.
I have a CENTOS 5 server running also. Are there any programs out there

help calculating variable based on factor level of another
Dear colleagues,
I want to calculate the value of x2 based on the value of x1. x1 is a
factor with three separate levels. I want to make sure that missing
values remain as NA in X2, but non-missing values take on a value of
either 0 or 1 dependending on the value in x1.
This is the code I'm working with...Can any one help?
I've seen some other requests on a topic like this, but not

OS for rails development: Windows vs. Mac?
Caveat: this is not a discussion about *hosting* a rails app on windows.
Anyway...Macs are everywhere you look when researching rails (demo vids,
tutorials, and pictures from rails training classes). I''m interested in
what the pros to using a Mac for rails development are (besides
textmate). Is it more of a cultural thing, a what would 37 signals do
thing, is it a unix thing, or

[RFC] High-Level Code-Review Documentation Update
Yeah, +1 that people from the same organization are sometimes the only ones
working on a certain feature/area. (certainly I'd expect some discussion
about the feature in general to be discussed outside that group if it's in
any way contentious - but some stuff's clear enough (I think I implemented
debug_types years ago, likely with only Eric's approval, both of us being

Hi Paul,
The danger there is that it'd be easier to "get used" to having some
failures as long as you don't have "new"

Try doing without launchd on macOS.
If you think that?s irrelevant, count the number of MacBooks at the next FreeBSD conference you attend.
For an init system to gain sufficient momentum, it must be the default, with no easy way to

In theory, the ones that have bugs associated with it, which is not
easy to find unless someone adds a comment with the XFAIL, which not
many people do.
