[LLVMdev] LLVM (opt) -profile-verifier is not pass resilient
I compiled SPEC CPU2006 bzip2 with Clang, and generated profiles with
OPT's -insert-optimal-edge-profiling option.
After a profile run, I launched OPT with -profile-loader
-profile-verifier flags and also passed -O3 flag. This caused OPT to
give a warning "WARNING: profile information is inconsistent with the
current program!" and then fail with an assert (ASSERT:inWeight and

[PATCH 0/4] secboot: be more resilient on errors
This series fixes two cases where behavior on secure boot errors could be
improved:
1) Patch 2 propages secure-boot errors from GR init, making sure initialization
fails as it should. Failure to do so results in a black screen during boot,
as reported in FD bug 94990.
2) Patches 3-4 make the absence of required secure firmware files a non-fatal
error. The previous behavior was to give up

Why libnetfilter_queue is missing from CentOS, but available in, Fedora?
I am asking this on behalf of the HIPL developers;
http://infrahip.hiit.fi/
https://launchpad.net/hipl
They have been working on getting their code consistant to the new
libnetfilter architecture. Finally have Fedora 18 and 19 available, but
have hit a stumbling block with Centos 6. They tell me they are not
finding libnetfilter_queue. Here is their message to me:

How to manipulate ldap access rights on Samba 4?
Hi,
I'm having hard time getting sssd_sudo to work: when sssd_sudo
accesses Samba ldap with host principal 'dc1$@teemu.local' it can't
read necessary attributes like objectclass: sudoRole. When accessing
as Administrator all attributes are shown. How can I enable other
users then Administrator to access sudoers' attributes? Below is an
example.

sssd_sudo search results different from command line ldapsearch
Hi all! I'm attempting to configure sudo rights from Samba ldap. Alas,
libsssd_samba receives 0 rules and config doesn't work. I think I have
the problem identified here but I don't understand why. The way
sssd_sudo searches for sudoers leave all important attributes out and
of course filtering then fails. Can you help me to understand why
following search results are so different (and

Nut 2.1 vs the resilient Powerware 9170+
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I figured out why nut seemed to segfault at startup from my Solaris
boxes (and snmp-ups too) - I believe that nut is trying to use some MIBs
that do not exist on my particular PW9170, for whatever reason. It dies
on my Linux box too, complaining like this:

readLines() and unz() and non-empty final line
Hi again,
The unz connection is non-blocking by default. I checked do_unz which calls
R_newunz which calls init_con and the only place in any of those functions
that sets 'blocking' is init_con which sets it to FALSE:
https://github.com/wch/r-source/blob/0c26529e807a9b1dd65f7324958c17bf72e1de1a/src/main/connections.c#L713
I'll open an issue on R-bugzilla and see if they're

make check fails due to NA / NaN mismatch
Thank you for the introduction to these recent changes, Martin.
I think this was the second time I ran "make check" on that platform (Raspberry Pi 32-bit), and the first time (some months ago) it worked fine. So, that makes it kind of "suddenly", although I must say that my use of "make check" is very irregular.
I compared code before and after the split you are

Teemu,
If just need the http request, I will need something like the following
configuration, right? So no meta data plugin, but with notify and
push_notification?
protocol lmtp {
mail_plugins = $mail_plugins notify push_notification
}
plugin {
push_notification_driver = ox:url=http://myurl/

My turn at building a custom kernel for IPsec BEET mode
Well I am working on building a kernel that will have the IPsec BEET
mode patch available from infrahip.hiit.fi.
I have some decent help, but really no one there is a seasoned Centos
kernel builder (though they work with different FC kernels), and now
they are mostly done for the day.
I have been following the wiki on building a custom kernel, got my patch
in ~/rpmbuild/SOURCES and away with

[LLVMdev] Getting rid of phi instructions?
Hi all,
is there a pass to get rid of phi-instructions in a function? There's no loop involved.
I have a function approx. like this:
void @func() {
entry:
…
bb1:
…
bb2:
…
%tmp100 = phi i32 [ 0, bb1 ], [ 1, bb2 ] …
%tmp101 = getelementptr …, %tmp100
tail call void @anotherfunc(…, %tmp101)
ret void
}
I would like it to rather be something like this:
void @func() {
entry:
…
bb1:
...
