[LLVMdev] RE : RE : Is llc broken for Cortex-A9 + neon ?
Hi all, More on this topic, if I use llc 3.1 with -promote-elements=0 as follows: llc convect.llvm -march=arm -mcpu=cortex-a9 -promote-elements=0 -mattr=+neon,+neonfp -relocation-model=pic -o convect.s then it fails, whereas it compiles with promote elements set to 1, trace looks like: # In Register Scavenger # Machine code for function test_kernel: Post SSA Frame Objects: fi#-18: size=4,

I apologize in advance for the subject and length of this reply. I debated just letting things pass without comment. But, security has many levels. And the first level is recognition of the threat. Whether we recognize it or not. Whether we agree of disagree with the politics that lie beneath this situation or not; Whether we consider this a non-technical issue or not; By virtue of our

(Classical) Request for Standardization of expanded TAGS
A month or two ago I sent an email to this list proposing to expand the list of "standard" tags for Ogg Vorbis. No tag would be required, but if you wanted to encode certain types of information about a file, you could use a standard tag. I went through the whole discussion, and revised my proposal in light of all the comments from everyone. Here is the updated proposal. This

Poisson GLM warning message
Hi, I receive the following warning message when I run a poisson GLM in R: "glm.fit: fitted rates numerically 0 occurred" The model summary is shown below. The variable 'Species' consists of counts of different species ranging from 0 to 4. I suspect this may have something to do with the warning message but I'm not sure. Can anybody help? Thank you! Some pre-RC1 listening tests
Hello everyone, ff123 compiled Monty's branch of the RC1 encoder, see his post on r3mix.net forum: http://66.96.216.160/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?board=c&action=display&num=994299736&start=30 Anyway it only supports ~128kbps mode, so I did a quick listening test with some files that bugged vorbis beta4. grace.wav - the right channel is still a bit watery, and I think this can be seen

vif() from Design and car
Hi, I've been generating linear models with lm(). I wanted to look at the VIF's for the coefficient. Using the vif() function from the package Design, I would get unusually high VIF's. However using vif() from the car package I get more reasonable values (ie in line with the quality of the model). What is the difference between the two vif functions? (I dont have access to the

Klaus-Peter (while hardly able to see through my watery eyes), You've earned yourself a (potentially rackmountable) 19" Dutch cheese as soon as the zaptel driver is finished and tested. In fact, I don't even have to mail it, I can pratically bring it over ! Although I'll be monitoring your site on a 24hrs/day basis from now on, please keep me posted on both the driver and the 4

vertically oriented color key in heatmaps
Hi, I have some data which I was plotting using image(). I wanted to add a vertical color key to the plot and I found that heatmap.2 in gplots does let me add a color key. However, I was thinking of a vertical bar with the color range rather than the style that gplots provides. Is there any package (or code snippet) that would let me add a vertical color key to an image() or heatmap
