noob: xen hypervisor answerfile fields
Hi:
Can you tell me where I can find documentation for the Xen Hypervisor
answerfile? I am trying to setup a PXE boot to automatically load dom0
on empty machines.
Thank you,
Joe

XCP unattend install-answerfile error
hi,guys
I try to install XCP using answerfile.
I made all the environment needed well, and it works well without
answerfile.
However, there are so many machines to be installed, so I want to
install it via unattended way.
So i write a answerfile by copying the example of the manual.

Request a way for passing simple info to a package installation
I need to install postfix on a a debian system with puppet.
Unfortunately there are a lot of prompts. One way to deal with this
is, is: http://projects.puppetlabs.com/projects/1/wiki/Debian_Preseed_Patterns.
Another way (apparently) is to give an answerfile in the package
resource declaration. (I have no idea how to do this)
e.g.:
echo postfix postfix/main_mailer_type select No

OpenSSH 3.8.1p1: call for testing
Hello All.
Portable OpenSSH version 3.8.1p1 nearing release. This is primarily a
bug fix release and we're asking for interested parties to try a
snapshot [1]. A reminder: we rely on community feedback to find out
about problems, particularly as there are many platforms any
configurations that we don't have access to and can't test.
In most cases, running the built-in tests is

FW: openssh 4.0 - sftp batch mode behavior
Hello,
I just installed the openssh 4.0 for Solaris. The users have reported a
difference in behavior when using the batch mode of sftp client.
Previously they could issue the following command sftp -b batchfile
user at hostname and in the absence of publickey authentication they would
be issued the password prompt and they could enter password and the
process would continue.

3.0.11 strstr_m test failed on Solaris 9
I'm using gcc 3.4.1 on Solaris 9.
A make check produced the following output after compiling 3.0.11...
Anyone have suggestions on what to do to fix it, or should I just ignore it?

dovecot-antispam: Failed to read mail beginning, Next message unexpectedly lost
Hello,
I'm trying to configure the dovecot-antispam plugin.
Now I've run into a problem: whenever I try to move/copy a message
in/from the spam mailbox, Thunderbird (and also Sylpheed, haven't tried
anything else) says:
The current command did not succeed. The mail server responded: Failed
to read mail beginning.
and in the logs I get:

Aptitude vs. apt
Hi all,
I need to write an aptitude provider for Debian. How should it differ
from apt? Can I just s/apt/aptitude/g, or do I need to do something
else? Any other weird behaviours I should look for or whatever?
I''ll make it a subclass of apt (and since Deb seems to specify aptitude
as the default now, maybe apt should subclass aptitude), so any dpkg
answerfile work should work on

GlusterFS, Pacemaker, OCF resource agents on CentOS 7
Hi guys
I'm wondering if anyone here is using the GlusterFS OCF
resource agents with Pacemaker on CentOS 7?
yum install centos-release-gluster
yum install glusterfs-server glusterfs-resource-agents
The reason I ask is that there seem to be a few problems
with them on 3.10, but these problems are so severe that I'm
struggling to believe I'm not just doing something wrong.

printing = lprng working?
Hi
I updated samba today to 3.0.5. Printing stopped working. The log says:
[2004/08/02 14:28:57, 0] printing/print_cups.c:cups_printer_fn(108)
Unable to connect to CUPS server localhost - Verbindungsaufbau abgelehnt
I'm using lprng not cups. Is samba ignoring printing = lprng?
I tested lpr it still works as usual.
Is there anything else I should check?
Thanks.
Best,
Hans
