bug on openssh 3.5p1
Excuse me in advance for my poor english
I have noted a small bug on OpenSSH 3.5p1. When user root is not
permitted to log in a system (PermitRoot no) and a correct password
is submitted for it to server, a RST packet is issued from server to client:
[root at xxx root]# ssh victim
root at victim's password:
Permission denied, please try again.

Problem cooperating with Windows and AD
Hi,
I'm having a problem getting my Windows machines to access shares in
Samba. When they browse to the Samba box it sometimes gives them an
error saying that they don't have permission or that the server is
unavailable. However this doesn't always happen and other times it lists
the shares. When I try to access the shares it just prompts for the
username/password over and over.

Asterisk with SMP hardware
Does anyone have any experience with running asterisk on multi-processor
computers (dual or quad)? Does asterisk on the latest Linux distros take
advantage of the extra processors, or does it predominately utilize a
single processor?

Mailer failure: ArgumentError: A sender (Return-Path, Sender or From) required to send a message
I have two mailer procedures in the same app and same mailer (Rails
3.1/1.9.2). The first one fails with the message below, the second works
fine. Both these results are through irb. Anyone have an idea as to why?
Also, in my application.rb I do have: ActionMailer::Base.default :from =>
"WaveLineup <system-+T6PWOEcvEy41k5uCYKmRQ@public.gmane.org>" defined.

Problem (mis-configuration?) with Milter-Sender (v0.62) GreyListRejectCount...
Hi, I''m having a problem with Milter-Sender (v0.62) in the fact that I''m not able to tune the GreyListRejectCount the way that I want to. Namely I''m having a problem setting the GreyListRejectCount to any value higher than a single digit, or at least that''s what I think is happening. I''ve been ""fighting this problem for a while on my server

ActionMailer and Sender validation frameworks ( DKIM or SPF )
What''s the directors'' take on ading DKIM or SPF functionality into
ActionMailer. Is that a function that is better addressed via a
plugin, or would an extension or a monkeypatch of this class be an
appropriate avenue of pursuit?
