openssh-3.7.1p2 on HP-UX 10.20
Hello, I have dowloaded all that is required to build a working OpenSSH on HP-UX 10.20 from the HP-UX Porting and Archibve centre (this seems to be the only way to go for 10.20). Make/install of all prerequisites has scucceeded. Now make of openssh-3.7.1p2 gives the following: gcc -g -O2 -Wall -Wpointer-arith -Wno-uninitialized -I. -I.. -I. -I./.. -I/usr/local/openssl-0.9.7b/include

Add -D_XOPEN_SOURCE_EXTENDED definition for HP/UX 11.00 platform
Hi, I suggest to add the following definition to configure and its template configure.in to allow samba-2.2.x to be compiled on HP/UX 11.00 with some lesser warnings. Without this definition you'll get warnings on all socket operation because the socket operations are UNIX98 specific and HP/UX 11.00 will support this when _XOPEN_SOURCE_EXTENDED is defined. -- Ren? [patch] ./configure problem on Solaris with Sun's CC
Hi, I have a problem with tftpd-hpa on Solaris-8, in that the configure script cannot find the regex engine. This is because of the following in configure.in: LIBXTRA=false AC_SEARCH_LIBS(xmalloc, iberty, , LIBXTRA=true AC_LIBOBJ(xmalloc)) AC_SEARCH_LIBS(xstrdup, iberty, , LIBXTRA=true AC_LIBOBJ(xstrdup)) AC_SEARCH_LIBS(bsd_signal, bsd, , LIBXTRA=true AC_LIBOBJ(bsdsignal)) if $LIBXTRA; then

Long awaited round 1 of NeXT patches.
This is about 90% of the core work. I omited a few files from the patch set since they are basicly small blocks of #ifndef HAVE_NEXT/#endif to get it to compile. Daimen, feel free to let me know what you applied and what your rejecting and why.. so I can work on cleaning things up. Andre, Only thing of note you may want to look into is NeXT does not use "ut_user" in it's lastlog.

[patch] add "--ignore" option
Hi, The patch below adds a "--ignore" option to rsync, which means "--exclude-but-dont-delete-even-if-we-specified--delete-excluded". I need this for a few tasks, the simplest of which is to have rsync resist trying to delete NetApp filers' ".snapshot" directories. The change is fairly simple (the boolean filter returns become tri-state), and works for me both
