[patch] SSH host keys in DNS
I've made some changes to the 2.9p2 release code to add support for
using DNSSEC lookups to check host keys. I've also made the changes to
the OPENBSD_2_9 tree. Both patches are available at
ftp://ftp.tislabs.com/pub/fmeshd/ as
openssh.[portable,openbsd].patch.20010709
I'm really looking for testers at this time. Right now the lookups are
done using a getrrsetbyname() function that is

Samab Suite not installing properly?
I'm running Redhat 7.0, with Samba 2.0.7, But I'm having
problems with it, I'm trying to get the Linux box to be authenticated on the
NT network that we're running. Except that I am a little confused, when I
installed Samba not all of the components were installed correctly, when I
try to run the following executibles it tells me that they don't exist;

Compiling icecast2 under OpenBSD 3.1
Hi,
<p>Finally, I succeeded in compiling Icecast2 under OpenBSD. It neither
worked for me on OBSD 3.0 nor my old 2.8, but the new 3.1 appears to
come with more icecast-friendly (p)threads.
OpenBSD 3.1 isn't officially released, yet, but installing a current
snapshot and getting the sources via CVS (module OPENBSD_3_1_BASE,
patient people also can already upgrade from scratch only with

fix firefox?
I once had firefox x86_64 installed (because it was the default).
But that one has problems with plugins (flash, java), which are
much easily solved by using the i386 version.
So I unstalled firefox, and installed it again using:
yum install firefox.i386
This worked, and even the plugins worked fine afterwards.
I did have some problems when uninstalling, because yum insisted

tftp behaves erroneously on "File not found"
Hello,
Looks like tftp-hpa handles missing files somewhat incorrectly. When it
receives the error 1 (File not found), it sends back an acknowledgement for
block #1 and creates an empty file. Protocol says errors terminate the
connection.
I can't try other errors, as I can't cause them; but they may cause the same
behaviour.

Dovecot reports zero messages erroneously
On October 11, Mark Farmer reported a problem about not being able to see new
mails. I'm running into the same issue. Even though cur/ and new/ contain
messages, Dovecot reports that there aren't any.
This problem seemed to start happening in alpha3 (and persists in alpha4).
When I revert back to alpha2, the messages show up again.
It looks like a problem with the dovecot.index*

Bug: rsync erroneously changes modification time
Whenever you use --times (included in --archive) rsync will fix
incorrect time stamps. The only thing --size-only is doing is keeping
the incorrect data instead of replacing it.
The purpose of these options is to "fix" a copy done in a way that did
not preserve timestamps but the data is known to have not changed.
These options allow rsync to correct the incorrect timestamps without
