OpenSSH with slow login
Hi,
I have installed Openssh on a HP-UX 11.00 and I am having a problem. It
lasts 5 minutes to login, after I enter my login and password.
I try to connect from a Windows machine having a Tera Term SSH client to the
HP UX with the OpenSSH server ?
Why does it take so long time (5 minutes) to establish a connection from a
remote machine to this openssh server ?
When I do Telnet to the same

Password in SSH scrips
Hi,
Suppose my backup server has to copy every day at the end of the night,
all files from the Web Server. So every day I will have a script that
copies files using SCP.
I USE HP-UX .
But this script must work without anyone entering passwords. I know that
SCP will need Passwords. How can I make a script with this feature ? Using
keygen ?
If posssible, describe with details how

Hi,
What is the command to use with scp and sftp in UNIX, to transfer files
as ASCII ?
I know that in FTP , we have the parameter "ascii" , but, how about openssh?
How can I make a script in UNIX using scp or sftp where I do not have to
type the password ? I mean, there is a password , but I don?t know where I
should put it . In a file ? Into the script ?

Speex Decoding Issue
Dear Speex community,
I am having problems to get the Speex Decoding API to work properly in our project.
I am working in an embedded project with a very limited RAM and Flash memory and would like to use Speex encoded files to save memory while having good voice sounds in our speakers.
I have developed a Windows-based tool to convert WAV files to Speex files in packets of 160 bytes (we are

"ksh: scp: not found"
I upgraded a compiled version of ssh-1.2.27 to a swinstalled depot of
OpenSSH_2.5.1p1 on HPUX-11.00.
I created links in /usr/local/bin/<ssh program> pointing to
/opt/openssh2/bin/<ssh program>.
Ssh works. Scp does not. HP support does not support ssh.
Below the line you will find the output of a verbose scp command from
the server to it self.

keyboard-interactive authentication mehtod?
Hi all,
I noticed that support for the keyboard-interactive user authentication method
is mentioned on the "todo" list in the README.openssh2 file. Is anybody
actively working on this?
Thanks,
Mike

OpenSSH version 3.1 sous HPUX 11
Hello,
I have just installed Openssh 3.1 sur HPUX 11.00.
the command ssh-keygen -t dsa -f /opt/openssh2/etc/ssh_host_dsa_key -N ""
doesn't stop, it seems waiting some other parameters.
How to configure this please.
An idea ?

status of openssh-2
Hi,
My name is Stefan Mangard and I plan to implement an extension to ssh as a
final project in a cryptography class.
Since I want to use an open source of ssh, I decided to use
the openssh implementation.
I am currently working with openssh-1.2.3, but I'd also like to implement
my extension for protocol 2, I wanted to ask you how far the development
of the implementation of openssh-2 is.

How to push files from Linux to Windows
Hi,
I am newbie on rsync.
I want to push files from a rsync repository on a Linux machine
(hostname=myserver) to some Windows machines (hostname=mydesktopn, where n
is a sequence number to identify the Windows PC) to force updates of the
files into C:\mypath\to\files.
Is there any way to do that? Or is it impossible and I need to content
pulling the files instead of pushing them.

Status of SSH 2.0 protocol support?
Just to bring everyone up to date, could we get a report on the status
of support for the 2.x protocol? The home page says "next major release"
- is that 1.3 or 2.0? And is there any feel for when it'll be generally
available?

Cri-o 1.13 package
Hi there,
I was looking for cri-o 1.13 package to install on CentOS 7.6 but it
seems that we only have 1.11 packaged.
There is any alternative to 1.13 package to CenOS 7.6 or if I want to
use it I should build from source?
Thanks.

openssh-2.0beta ssh_config Protocol parsing error.
Hello all,
It seems that openssh-2.0beta's ssh doesn't parse /etc/ssh/ssh_config (or
equivalent) properly. If I add e.g. 'Protocol 2,1' there, ssh will just
complain '/etc/ssh/ssh_config line 30: garbage at end of line.'. I've
tried changing the line, etc. but the error remains.
True enough, README.openssh2 only mentions ~/.ssh/config, but IMO this
must have been an
