Intermittent port forwarding problems openssh 2.9.2p and up
Hi all, I'm now using openssh 2.9.9p1 (after having the same problem with 2.9.2p), currently on two redhat Linux 6.2 machines and I am getting some intermittent port forwarding problems. To provide some background, the two machines sit on separate networks and talk through a firewall. I am trying to get an application to talk through the ssh connection to a remote machine. ie ssh -N

TTSSH and the SSH trademark
Hi everyone. I want to point out some facts about TTSSH that may be relevant to the claims of trademark infringement by OpenSSH. I'll confine my opinions to another message :-). I released my product, which has always been named "Teraterm SSH" and is usually abbreviated to "TTSSH", to the public in May 1998. TTSSH is a free software Windows client for the SSH1 protocol.

More on TTSSH and the SSH trademark
I would also like to mention that when I released TTSSH in May 1998, I had no concerns about violating any trademarks because I observed that the name "SSH" was already being used by several different parties for different purposes --- as the name of Ylonen's original SSH package and its derivatives, as the name of the protocol, and as a component of names of other implementations

I try to expain with a simple example. I create a qdisc htb with only a class and then i do a lot of traffic. pc-innocenti:~# tc qdisc add dev eth0 parent root handle 1: htb default 10

Info: Samba over SSH
Hi all, thought I'd pass on some info. With some local help, we've isolated the problem (unable to mount Samba partitions over SSH) down to the Win9x SSH client itself, or rather, an interaction between the SSH clients and Win9x. Samba requires _only_ TCP port 139 to mount and access files, so that's the only port you need to forward. I should also mention that you need to put the

Creating a file by ssh
Hello I have this problem. I don't know if it's really a problem or just a misconfiguration of ssh. I tried to copy from a Fedora 6 with rsync (via ssh) a file that has some italian characters inside (file it's named "qualit?"). It gives me no error it copies the file but when I go to see it on the remote server (openSuse 10.2) i got this new file "qualit?"
